Re: Kimber Ultra Carry II won’t cycle properly

Different ammo brand? Only time I ever had cycling issues with any of mine was in Colorado in 30° cold. But I'm pinning that issue on the powder since the same reloads ran great when I got back home.

Re: Coronapocalypse Projects & Pastimes

I'm fortunate in that I have the ability to keep working from home so that'll help. My wife and I were going to do some house shopping so we could get out of this apartment but the brakes were put down on that with the "shelter in place" excrement. So short answer, continue working, reloading, looki...

Re: My new EDC Load out

If there hasn't been a run on bleach yet we just use a 10% solution of that at work for surfaces. Wipe it, leave it damp, and that time it takes to dry up increases the exposure time to whatever and works REALLY good for all but the hardiest of stuff that can only be killed by an autoclave or incin...

Re: The Cycle Comes Full Circle

Not sure of the brand actually, I'm not horribly brand conscious, but it was one of 2 5/8x24 7.62 brakes on the shelf (just checked the receipt, it's a Midwest Industries brake). Install entailed unscrewing the thread protector from the muzzle, sliding on the crush washer and screwing her on. https:...

The Cycle Comes Full Circle

Before moving to Texas 12 years ago I was very much a "rifle guy", AK's SKS's a couple bolt guns and .22 semi autos, and I was fairly proficient. Moving to Texas turned me into a "pistol guy" due to the easy accessibility to any range past 25 yards. Whelp, this weekend I bought and put together anot...

Re: WD40

I was a machinist some time ago and the owner of the shop I worked in was a Vietnam vet. He had purchased multiple palettes of the stuff for drilling and milling applications, it worked great. I asked one day what it was made from and I was told that it was rendered pork fat. Going off color, textur...

Re: Is my wife really right? Say it ain't so...please

Let the kid be a kid. Digital transmission of news and events makes the spread of information almost instantaneous. This I feel makes things feel worse than they actually are and maybe projects an illusion that things are worse than they actually are. Add in that metro areas are being condensed with...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Could this be what dems are up to? I'm admittedly not up to snuff with regards to constitutional law but for that sake of conversation... 1. Pelosi holds on to the articles of impeachment up until the 2020 elections. 2. Trump loses (I sincerely hope not) and we end up with a switch in the senate 3....

Make America Metal Again

Not sure how many metal heads we have in here but thought I would share anyway. Showed up in my YouTube feed and honestly, it made me laugh and depending on which way you take the song, it is fairly fitting right now.

Re: Best store bought Jerky- asking for a friend

+1 for bucees.

The lemon pepper or bohemian garlic is our go to. They have a venison sausage as well that's pretty good. Plenty of flavors to choose from and if you go to the bulk jerky counter you can try it before you buy it.

Washington State seeks to ban black or Tan semi automatic rifles.

And normal capacity magazines.
Olive drab could be sexy...with a 31 round as new standard capacity magazine. :biggrinjester:
