A friend that went with me to LTC class on 2/24 Submitted his paperwork on 3/13, went for fingerprints on 3/16 and had plastic in hand 3/26
and another friend of mine that went to class with me and submitted all his paperwork on 2/28 still hasn't received his.. So I guess there is no rhyme or reason to who gets theirs quick and who has to wait

I received my email saying that all docs were received on 3/2 and I'm still bg pending so I know how you feel..I emailed them on 3/22 and they responded on 3/24 saying it can take up to 8 business weeks from the day all docs are received

Ya man I received the email 3/12 and my background is still pending I called 2 weeks ago and the representative said that he talked to the background people that process our bg and he said it would have been done last week. It’s been 2 weeks and nothing. So I don’t know what’s going on. Also I’m 21 and have nothing on my record and lived in Texas my whole life!!! Just wanted to rant

I'm in the same boat, turned 21 in October, submitted all of my documentation 4/14, got an email saying it's been received on 4/16 and now nothing. I'm wondering how long it takes for it to be updated on the website.

Does everyone get the checklist with yellow/green bars? I had to call in because I had 6 documents to send in and only 5 attachment spots. The lady was real helpful and very nice, I got my issue with the docs cleared up and she checked and was surprised she was able to see all of my stuff within 10 minutes of submitting. I don't see any checklist or progress on dps site, and have seen others say they don't either. Is the progress list for everyone? Or hit and miss?

Did DPS send you an email acknowledging receipt of documents and if so, how long after submittal?
