Re: Recommended EDC for 70+yo and 120lbs person?
I've decided to wait on the 380EZ. I'll wait and see if SHE wants to move on from what she has. In our area I'm the only gun dealer letting people try guns first. The nearest gun rental/indoor range is 2 hrs away. I don't have much inventory but I try to cater to the people around me. I order guns p...

The 380 she has comes with barely visible sights and I don't think they're able to be changed.srothstein wrote: ↑Sun May 29, 2022 11:13 pm If she can control the 380 she has, could a slide racking tool help? Here is one example:

Ok, I think I'll order the Shield 380 EZ and see what she thinks.

Recommended EDC for 70+yo and 120lbs person?
Hi. I have a new customer/student that needs a home defense/EDC gun. Another dealer sold her a 2" 38 hammerless revolver and a SCCY CPX1. She can barely pull the trigger on either gun and neither will stay on target. The recoil on both is pretty stout especially in her hands. We settled on her ...

Re: Loss of gun rights and what can be done after.
I'm positive he's going to lose his gun rights. He was shooting in the air, shooting over homes/RVs, resisting arrest while his family verbally abused the LEOs and then posted videos of it all on Facebook. I'll keep an eye on the situation. If he decides to use the help of an FFL, I'll post them up ...

Re: Loss of gun rights and what can be done after.
I believe there were lots of ARs and AKs. I'd ask the guy about it but he's not exactly the "friendly" type. Was just wondering if an FFL would be an option if he could no longer be in possession of guns. I'd assume the police would confiscate them all since there will be multiple felons a...

Re: Loss of gun rights and what can be done after.
The guy himself was caught shooting up in the air within city limits. They had children out there with no hearing protection. Neighbors across the street reported shots going over the RV park. The guy resisted for 20+ minutes. Family insulted the officers and refused to cooperate with the officers(t...

Loss of gun rights and what can be done after.
A guy here crossed the line with the law. He was completely wrong in his actions and then resisted arrest. I'm pretty sure he's gonna be charged with some big stuff. He has lots of guns besides the weapon he used during the crime(which cops didn't confiscate). At this point what are his options besi...

Re: identogo fingerprints? How does this work?
Ok that made sense. I didn't do the online application yet. I was more concerned with getting my 258 cards done. I specifically asked for that and they said that's what I paid for. I went ahead and checked that background report...nothing new. Just an arrest for unlawful carrying of a weapon 15 year...

Re: identogo fingerprints? How does this work?
No, I haven't done that yet. I just didn't understand what IDENTOGO did with my prints since they clearly had no idea what I wanted. Just got an email saying I had 5 days to view my FBI pre employment background check before it became unavailable.

identogo fingerprints? How does this work?
I went to their website and I was wanting to do prints for both my FFL and my Texas CHL. The rep on the phone as well as the in-person agent verified i was correctly scheduled($21). When I showed up, they took my prints digitally and charged me $50. Then I was told that my prints were sent. Neither ...

Re: Had a few rounds explode in my Ruger SR22 pistol.
Ruger included a paper stating that they test fired it with 100 rounds of CCI MINI MAG and I believe Aguila super extra before shipping it back to me.

There is a private gun seller in a lot of trouble right now. Maybe not.He would have had to KNOWINGLY sell to a felon. yes, and this is exactly why the private sale loophole needs to be closed. it's common sense, we cant have mentally deranged or autistic or retardeds out there buying assault rifle...

I don't think it was uniformly enforced because it ended badly a few times and I'm sure it baffled them. So, it was kind of up to the managers to enforce or not.

Re: Had a few rounds explode in my Ruger SR22 pistol.
Just wanted to post the conclusion to this. Ruger replaced my barrel, extractor, and slide. I inspected the gun before shipping it to them and it looks like there was an indentation made on the chamber from dry firing. Guessing that's reason the casings fit so tight in the chamber. No more dry fires...
