Watch the fuel gauge! Compared to the rest of the state, there aren't many places to gas up. Fill ups in Midland Odessa, Van Horne, Pecos, etc. Between larger cities, there isn't much. And note the speed limits between west of Odessa and east of El Paso go up to 80.
