Re: If Not a Bolt Action, Which Is Better, Straight Pull Bolt, Lever or Pump?

Love a pump action rifle.. but as mentioned above the Remington was the most common and it's been out of circulation for awhile. The lack of choice here is a serious consideration. I traded a Rem 270 7600 decades ago, but it was a fantastic rifle. Levers are always fun and my 44 mag and 454 casull s...

Re: Unfired 9mm for sale

Does the Ruger come with 4 mags total? Typically I see them new with 1 10rd and 1 12 rd, just wanting to confirm. Also, is the Walther CCP an M2 or M1 varient? Thanks!

Re: Henry Rifle Sight replacement

Of course, you just ave to purchase the right sight (Round/Octagon barrel; Drilled & tapped or dovetail). Plenty of videos on Youtube detailing the process. Went with the skinner peep sight on my Henry 327 mag

Re: Is it me or are postings down

I think folks have lost interest in the forum due to a shift in the topics being discussed or they feel like it is an otherwise uninviting environment. Personally, I feel the forum has become too much of a political soundboard. Topics far outside of Texas CHL or Texas gun legislation are commonplac...

Re: Texas to the rescue of our 2nd Amendment rights

Today's decision in the similar (if not stronger) case from Pennsylvania does not bode well for this suit. It appears likely that SCOTUS is going to set this one out.

Re: Which Pistol-Caliber Lever-Action is Most Durable/Reliable

I've owned pistol caliber levers from Browning, Winchester, Marlin, Henry and Rossi. By far one of the best was a Browning 92 in 44 mag I traded some years ago. Very solid rifle, lite weight and easy to carry that just performed. Spare parts played part of the decision to trade. I still have a Henry...

Re: "Release the Kraken" ???

I have been waiting for some shred of evidence to back up the claims, but it appears that "the kraken" remains more myth than reality. “We invited Sidney Powell on the show. We would have given her the whole hour,” Carlson said. “But she never sent us any evidence, despite a lot of request...

Re: S&W Model 986 .357Magnum 5inch value

I've been collecting S&W firearms for almost 40 years. This one seems odd as S&W has no record of a 986 in their production catalog in 357. The L frame didn't even exist until 1980, so an L frame in any caliber prior to 1980 is dubious at best. Maybe you have a customized revolver of recent ...

Re: Corona Virus (COVID-19)( SARS-CoV-2) from China: Its going to be bad.

Here are some numbers for you. The population of the US was 202,700,0000 in 1969. That gives us roughly a 4.94% death rate. The population of the US is at 331,200,200 in 2020. That gives us a death rate of only 2.4% so far. The vast majority of deaths were the winter of 1968-1969. By the winter of ...

Can you possibly point to when the country previously enacted Nation Wide, State Wide or even County wide quarantine restrictions even close to what is presently going on? I was not aware of a time in history when The Un...
