T.L. Davis defines what’s going on…
https://tldavis.substack.com/p/elections-are-dangerous

I don’t care if you hate Trump, I won’t argue with you why that’s irrelevant and not worth your time, but he is the battleground. The indictments launched against him are aimed at you, the reader, and if they’re successful it doesn’t matter if Trump’s in prison, he’s just the prelude to you, the demonstration of your weakness. If they can do it to a massively popular figure like Trump, one who represents the pro-American section of the population, they can mop the floor with you

Trump indicted in Atlanta for calling people there on the phone.

All of the charges carry mandatory jail sentences and include RICO charges.

https://nypost.com/2023/08/15/here-are- ... ent-cases/

Facing altogether 91 counts.
i feel for the volunteers that got wrapped in charges.
sure seems like we are past 3rd world now.
but hopefully they show the ga senate archived video.

and i might get flamed...but trump needs to respectfully bow out and deal with the crud and let others move forward
as long as he stays in spotlight....we get stuck with creepy joe or gavin
i heard the RICO case could prevent him from being out on BOND?? not sure how that would fall out.
how does a state case trump federal cases? ?? One of the talking heads stated the state rico case cannot be pardoned?? not a lawyer, but ....
At this point it is all about putting a person in office that is most likely to shake up our corrupt FBI, DOJ and IRS. I would write him in if he wasn't on the ballot. We must put someone in office who will turn over the entire system of corrupt Washington politicians. Both Democrats and Republican politicians alike are scum buckets and they both sell We The People down the river. They must be disrupted or else WE The People are going to be forced to take up arms, or acquiesce to being under the boot of complete Government oppression. DJT is exactly what we need.
^^^^^^ :iagree: All the charges are an effort to get Trump off the ballot. They hate him and us.

So will Trump be jailed w/o bond like the other Jan 6 insurrectionists?
If it's not already, it will soon be illegal to support President DJT.
I'm beginning to think that the puppet masters (not Biden, he's just a puppet) have come to the conclusion that civil war in America is necessary to achieve their goals. I think they believe that killing or imprisoning the half (at least) of the citizens who do not agree with or support their agenda is the path to follow.
Push, push, push the right's nose in their garbage is all they have been doing since Obama was elected. (Okay, maybe even longer than that).

Trump indicted on federal espionage charges.

I believe this is a first for a former President and a first for the front runner running for President.

Other countries can now hold their head up and say we are just like America.

If Trump or another Republican does not win in 2024, I believe this will mark the end of democracy in America.

Trump Defends Bump Stock Ban, Says it Was the NRA’s Idea
https://thereload.com/trump-defends-bum ... nras-idea/

However...
Still, former President Trump defended his record on guns.

“There’s been nobody that’s protected the Second Amendment,” he said. “There’s, you know, like I have I protected through thick and thin, not easy to do.”

Despite defending his unilateral ban on bump stocks, he said the real problem lies with mental health.

“It’s not the gun that pulls the trigger,” Trump said. “It’s the person that pulls the trigger. And we have to protect our Second Amendment.”

He argued that schools should arm teachers and harden their buildings to stop school shootings. He said other areas could be hardened too. And he argued people need guns to defend themselves.

Perfect Storm by T.L. Davis
https://tldavis.substack.com/p/perfect-storm

Outtake below…RTWT
Despite what you might think, this isn’t about Trump. Trump never has been Trump. Trump has always been a proxy for traditional and patriotic Americans, believers in the concepts of individual rights, self-determination, self-reliance, private property and capitalism. For all of their weaknesses, these things produce strong, vibrant economies, strong militaries and relatively safe and secure homes and businesses. The systematic undermining of these principles have led us to this moment.

When Trump announced that he would seek to end illegal immigration and protect our borders he verbalized what no other Republican had been able to whisper, that there was something special about America and it was worth defending against invaders. That was a sin so grievous that he had to be stopped, because it defended us, exalted the individual American, the patriot, a being so hated by the left that any success Trump had would be a success of the America Obama had nearly destroyed and Hillary certainly would have.

Dems licking their chops to indict Trump on criminal charges for the riot.
Since he was acquitted by the senate, wouldn't a trial for the same thing run afoul of double jeopardy?
Since when do the Democrats care about the Constitution?

The number of emails I’ve received from the “Trump Team” in the last two weeks is more than I received during the entire 2020 campaign. I’ve “unsubscribed” several times and they just keep coming, several a day. Very annoying.

See, Dems, here's the deal: you can't call me a racist, a misogynist, a hatemonger, a fool, a Russian tool, and a fascist for four years and then suddenly expect me to kiss up to you just because your intolerant, anti-American boot is on my throat.

Trump’s Taxes: Everything Old Is New Again
https://townhall.com/columnists/derekhu ... n-n2577089
But the thing about this latest “bombshell” is just how old the information is.

Here is a headline from 2016: “Donald Trump Acknowledges Not Paying Federal Income Taxes for Years.” Here’s another headline from 2018: “Trump Engaged in Suspect Tax Schemes as He Reaped Riches From His Father.” They’re both basically the same stories, and they’re both from the New York Times. You could almost forgive the people at the Times for not reading the Times, but 2 of the 3 “reporters” on this year’s version of the story wrote the 2018 version of the story.

What is it? To put it in the most basic of terms, since we’re dealing with complex tax laws and sums of money most of us don’t have, is this: If you’re a business owner, you can roll over excess taxes paid in one year to cover future taxes in another future year. By the same measure, you can spread losses out over multiple years too. This lowers your tax burden in future tax years but does not change your overall tax liability.

If that doesn’t make sense, think of it like this: If you had $20,000 in income taxes withheld one year but only owed $10,000, you’d be due a $10,000 refund. You can choose not to take that refund and let the IRS keep it against your taxes the following year. If, in that following year, you end up owing $10,000 again, but had nothing withheld, rather than having to cut a check, you simply use the $10,000 the IRS already has from you to cover it. You’ve technically paid “nothing” in taxes that year, but you’ve really already paid that money. In the current year, you didn’t cut a check to the IRS that year, but you did pay what you owed
