Re: 3 beauties for sale--League City/Houston area Price Drop!

Dang! I've been looking for a light weight revolver for a few years but this model's value gets outside my price range for what I have in the coffee can. I'll keep looking at this thread and drooling.

Re: Early Voting

I went, north side of Houston, and line was so long I didn't have time to stand that long. Good turn out and let's hope it's for the good guys. I'll go back this week for early voting, likely first thing tomorrow morning.

Ouch! I've tried to justify a bullpup but this is part of the problem - cost.

Re: Range time (or lack of)

Dry fire for sure! Just because it gets boring doesn't mean it's not useful. When you get a chance, once or twice a year(?), take a minimal costing tactical class to get more ideas on what/how to practice by yourself at the range. The indoor range I go to on the north side of Houston offers a $35 cl...

Re: Stand Alone ER's / Rip Offs or ...?

Be sure to check your co-pay and call your insurance and/or the facility to better anticipate any costs. The stand alone locations can be very pricey but as above, it may be worth it to avoid long wait times.

Re: 2A Interview with popular magazine

If guns kill people then all mine must be defective. We can all agree that government wastes money so I want a smaller government and less regulations. I want to be able to defend myself. If that means a giant que tip then I want one of those. If bad guys use guns I want one of those. I'd love to ta...

Re: Beto asks VFW to take down American Flags!

My wife and I both have had texts on our cell phones asking if we're voting for Beto. I deleted mine and she texted back she's voting for Cruz with a whole bunch of exclamations. She also received the return text, "We'll note that..." For rights loving lefties they sure like to take away my rights l...

Re: London mayor taking his stupidity another step

Somewhere recently I heard or read that they had some issue with little kid pools as well. Because somebody who was trying to break into a house managed to trip and fall and drown in one or something of the sort. So now you can't have pools in your backyard in case somebody trying to rob you might ...

Re: Mom pulls gun on teenage girl to "break up" a fight

My daughter is a senior in high school this coming year. I'm on "always watch"! (actually I've taught her a crippling straight right and she seems to have a good head on her shoulders. She plans to go into the military after high school but likely through ROTC college)

Re: REI Pressuring Vista (Savage Arms)

I love to be outdoors and my wife and I backpack so REI has been a great company for equipment and clothing. It's been bothering me since March that REI got into political commentary. I recently sent them an email because they also now require presenters to avoid political commentary. I"ll see what ...

NBC news cuts Swiss pro gun presentation

Tonight, 8/4/18, I was watching NBC 5:30pm news and they had a piece on Swiss gun ownership. It was commenting that Switzerland has a very high gun ownership, hundreds of gun ranges and almost no gun violence. It seemed about half way through the presentation, started talking about registration, whe...

Re: 2 Gun

There is also run and gun, in effect a 2 gun rifle and pistol but is distinctly more physical. Impact Zone I understand is to have one or two this year and at least one near Waco. That's good to hear. Do you know how long the Impact Zone course will be? I tried to find more information but couldn't...

Re: WI: Pistol-packing waitress defends George Webb co-worker during attack

This is exactly why all women should be in favor of concealed carry! But truly, it's why all people should be able to defend themselves with an appropriate amount of force. It certainly looks like the BG had other things in mind until the employee drew on him.
