Re: Costco prohibit carry - No signs posted

We had this very discussion a few years ago. Costco enters into a contractural agreement with its members concerning the conditions of membership which you as a member agree to. Since it is a private company the entrance onto which is based on membership they can restrict membership by contract. Fa...

Re: Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam disarmed

One of the best episodes of the late GYSGT R Lee Ermey's 'Mail Call' show was when he did an episode on Trebochets... The classic line was something to the effect of: "We wanted to learn more about this Medieval era siege weapon, so we went to Mr. .... of trebochets.com ....". Trebochets.com? (mic d...

Of the Dallas and Fort Worth Zoos, only the Dallas Zoo is large enough to meet the statutory definition of an "Amusement Park" in 46.035.

Re: Clarification on 46.03 please

I'm not sure I understand your question, unless it is a misunderstanding of the law itself. 46.03 and 46.035 are two separate sections of the law and each applies separately. So under 46.03, no one can carry a gun on a school, in a polling place, in a court room, at a racetrack, in a secured airpor...

Re: Calling the Police on Burglars “Comes from a Place of Privilege”

Also, disbanding a city’s police department is not without precedent. When faced with endemic corruption or racism in their police departments, a number of US towns have eliminated their city P.D., and paid the county sheriff or state police to patrol their city. From some viewpoints, eliminating t...

"A study of 700,000 first-time handgun buyers found that, on average, they were were nine times as likely to later deliberately shoot themselves than non-buyers were https://nyti.ms/2Mt4DRW". Re: Protests - the next level?

This is how civil wars (oxymoron) start. Speaking as someone who’s been through one already. Civil wars are not so named because they are 'civil' in their execution by the respective sides. Rather they are named thus because they are among opposing groups within the same nation state's civilian pop...
