Re: 9th Circuit says 2nd Amendment does not cover legally present but nonimmigrant aliens

Will this suddenly turn, otherwise law abiding, non immigrants, into criminals, for possessing firearms? This will have a ripple effect, in that it will make the job, of gun dealers, even more difficult, since they will have to spend so much extra time, sorting through, all of the different visa de...

Re: Testing improper signage...

I don't carry past 06/07 signs, even though, as an emergency response volunteer, I have a defense to prosecution. -- I'll take my business elsewhere, usually. I do pick up things for WifeGBiv at Sprouts occasionally. I leave my gun in the car. Reluctantly. I did catch myself a few weeks ago walking...

Re: Dallas Under-Funding Police to the Point Where Life-Threatening Calls Go Unanswered

This has got to be more than underfunding. I'm sure Dallas could do more to recruit/train/develop the police force, but you don't get this bad just from short funding. I suspect poor management from middle to upper. The leadership (Mayor, Chief, City Manager, etc) set the tone. I wonder how many de...

Re: Lowes and Veteran Discounts

Home Depot only gives discounts year round to retired military, but gives veterans discounts on certain holidays, like Memorial Day weekend. Yes. The Lowe's program is much better. Once you register with them by bringing your DD-214 and getting it on file, you get the 10% automatically by stating y...

Re: Does "...at any time..." really mean ANY time?

There have been sporadic reports here that the Medical Review Board or the people reviewing the applications have expanded the definition of disqualifying medical conditions beyond the plain text of the law. In my opinion, if you are not aware of having been diagnosed by a board certified (in the sp...

Re: AZ DPS details serious FNS9 safety issues, switches to Glocks.

I’m waiting for the keyboard cops to jump in and declare there’s no such thing as an accidental discharge. It’s a negligent discharge.

Anyway, let me get back to shopping for some hi cap clips for my AR15 full semiautomatic assault weapon.

Re: Fort Worth Zoo vs. Texas State Fair

The city doesn't manage either location. I believe we (on the forum) concluded that if an entity leases property owned by the city, then the entity can post 30.06/30.07 signs but the signs are not enforceable. So, why is the Fort Worth Zoo's 30.06 sign enforceable? And, to add more to the discussio...

Re: Debanked

On the other hand Chase's CEO Dimon says they would not be pushed into refusing business with gun manufacturers. I canceled my Citibank card when they stopped doing business with NRA. Sound more like some lower level employees taking matters into their own hands. But I could well be wrong.

https://www.ccrkba.org/ccrkba-tells-u-of-massachusetts-keep-mascot-lose-athletic-director-2/ The above link dates to 2004, and details how such precious Massachusetts snowflakes objected to the school's symbol and wanted to strut their PC stuff. I read a few articles from the ArcDigital site. It looks like a group of leftists pretending to be conservative, while pushing the usual collectivist propaganda. Utilitarianism is an anti-religious philosophy that undergirds much of the destructive movements in modern history. :???: Disagree that u...

Re: 51% Sign Legality?

Not unless you can prove you don't speak English. Seriously though, if there is a big red 51% sign posted, it would behoove you not to be caught carrying. I have entered an establishment, and not seen any signs, until I was well inside the door, and they were posted above the bar area, of...

Re: Talking about magazines

I like to to carry my high cap clip s taped together, so I can pull them out of my assault weapon , flip over and re-insert. It reduces the chance of an accidental discharge while changing clips , and I can carry twice as many bullets with my two clips taped together method. I think I first saw this...
