Last night my local paper sponsored a debate between the 2 candidates in HD9 and the 2 candidates for Harrison County DA.

Chris Paddie is the incumbent (running for a 4th term), and his opening statement was very interesting. He was one of those who signed onto the legislation that reduced the LTC fee this past session. He also commented that, with the help of his colleagues, "we will lower that to zero in the next session." That part starts at around the 8:30 mark.

My biggest complaint about him has been that he was much to cozy with Speaker Strauss. That issue was brought up several times in the debate.
