Re: New to Concealed Carry, have a few questions

Comfortable has nothing to do with carrying a firearm. I have been carrying all day every day for over 30 years. Comfortable has never been part of the equation. While I understand what you are saying and agree it's not the main focus - there is no reason that comfort can't be a part of carrying. T...

It sounds like an aid rather than her. Of coarse that does not mean she did not know about it.
Or direct the aid to do it. ;-)

I'm an FFL/Gunsmith in Georgetown. Not Austin so you're probably still at zero for now technically ;-)
For the benefit of those of us in Temple, Belton and Salado, can you let us know how to find you? (and for gunsmithing, what gun platforms you work on)

Re: New to Concealed Carry, have a few questions

To get comfortable carrying, and caring a round in the chamber I would suggest that you invest in a defensive pistol class (or several) and go have a day of fun and training! I can’t speak for others but the classes for me were incredibly helpful from a proficiency standpoint but they were more fun ...

Gosh, how did they ever get him to surrender and lie down? Did they just yell that he was breaking the law?
He was dead in custody
I knew that, my post was a [failed] sarcastic presponse to the coming gun control cries. (because it took good guys with guns to stop the bad one with a gun)

To be honest, when Trump announced he was running in the primary's, I was wondering why a person who had been with the Democrats all their life would run as a Republican.
Revenge, plain and simple.

Re: CA: 1 dead 2 wounded at Costco shooting. Not what you might think.

The story brings up a couple of interesting questions. 1. Was the officer attacked because he was in uniform? Was he in uniform? I thought they referred to him as off duty- as if to justify that he could legally have a weapon in CA since it's so rare. Does being in uniform and being assaulted by mo...

No need to find out...

At this point the LTC does not matter one bit. You already know the only 2 relevant facts:

1.he has gun(s)
2.he has threatened you
