Re: Instructor renewal instructions

Now I tried to use the email contact form for regulatory services...and when you click "submit" it also comes back with an error...

What a joke.

Re: Instructor renewal instructions

Attempted the online process 3 times, IE, Chrome and then on Mac with Safari. Nothing worked, getting the error message after the affidavits. Called the regulatory services number and get put on hold, 20 minutes is the longest I could hold so far with nothing. I once inadvertently pushed the number ...

Re: SB11 & HB910 This week....

Maybe police are buoyed by their "tough on crime" constituency who view the 4th Amendment as a "loophole" or "technicality" when the subject of the search or stop is anyone but them or if they really really dislike the accused or the crime?

Re: SB11 Campus Carry House Floor Debate 5/26/15

"Input" from various groups is meaningless. There will never be a consensus from any group in favor or concealed carry and if there was it is only "input". This is lipstick on a pig. Truly the exception that guts the rule.

Re: It's Not Just Gun Bills Being Stonewalled

I wish heads would roll, but unfortunately the vast majority of the gun-owning public is completely uninformed and apathetic on gun issues, the general public worse.

Some people have interest in their niche and that's it. Most people don't care of follow much of anything.

Rep. Charles Perry

My rep...I like him a lot and from my albeit limited observation, he seems to be a solid supporter of 2nd A. This is from a radio interview in Lubbock.

Re: CHL Instructor Renewal

On Sep 14th DPS' CHL Unit notified me by email of Instructor Renewal classes in El Paso, Houston, and Georgetown. DFW would be better for me but to speed things up, I requested a spot in the Nov 6th Instructor Renewal Class in Georgetown. So far I have received no response to my email. Has anyone r...

Did the El Paso class actually happen? Anyone?

Re: CHL Instructor Renewal

I am one of those lawyers who will need to schedule a day off to take the class. IF they ever tell me when and where to take it. Repeated emails avail me nothing. Austin----is anyone listening? I'm in the same boat...I cannot book flights because I don't know when I have to be there and when I can ...

Re: Illinois - Quinn writes stricter rules into concealed ca

Every state has to go through this, acting as if they are the first state ever to deal with these issues. The restaurants, parking lots, churches, long class time, endless paperwork, multiple guns...all the while pretending that these have not been dealt with elsewhere and none of their paranoia (if...

Re: BILL STATUS UPDATE: 4/23/13

FWIW, Lubbock radio talk show this morning was saying that Whitmire is quoted as saying he will not give the campus carry bill a committee vote. I found that hard to believe, so I did some searching, I believe they were quoting this article http://trailblazersblog.dallasnews.com/2013/04/campus-carry...
