Re: Carrying your license to carry

I have, perhaps 4 or 5 times in the last 10 years, accidentally left home without my wallet or phone. In most cases, I was leaving the house on my own, very early in the morning to get to church for a Sunday morning band rehearsal before services start, and I simply borrowed a friend’s phone to call...

Re: Kore Belt

I just ordered a Kore belt and am anxiously awaiting for it to arrive. My chose was based mostly on the positive posts on the forum. So, are all of you Kore belt owners still happy with your purchase and have they held up well for you? I got tired of switching between the to tight and to loose hole...

Re: Post your favorite, Safe Queen Shooter

These two...... An Inland M1 Carbine, and an Ithaca 1911A1 - both manufactured in 1943. The are safe queens, but I do get them out about once a year and put a few rounds through them. Everything else in the safe gets taken out periodically and shot....except maybe my shotguns. http://www.annoyedman....

Re: LCR 9mm v. 38 Special snub

Using the SIG ammo, the 9mm LCR had an average velocity of about 1150 fps for a 125 gr. JHP. That's on the order of 300 fps more than the 38 Special! That makes the 9mm LCR an attractive BUG. However, I remembered the video Paul did comparing 38 Special and .357 Mag. snub guns and the difference in...

Re: Glad I carry

Please remember, 10 acres, (if mowing is involved) will eventually be a lot of maintenance work. I once wanted a few more acres in addition to what I have now and man am I glad I didn't buy them. It's all I can do to keep up with what I have now...food for thought! P.S. The guy that built our fence...

https://amgreatness.com/2018/10/05/but-kavanaugh-nevertrumps-awakening/ For two years, NeverTrump has united with the Left to sabotage Trump’s presidency, smear congressional Republicans who support him, and ridicule Trump voters. Led by Bill Kristol, the editor-at-large-and-getting-larger of the W...

Re: Tumbleweeds discussion

I’ll echo DocV’s criticism. I would really like to know “her” name, but I also let it go because I thought perhaps this was some kind of literary device you were deliberately using. But since every character seems not to be the narrator, it doesn’t seem like it would hurt to know her name... ..........

Re: HK Owners, I'm in the market...Have a question

I used to own a USP Compact, which was roughly G19-sized. I really liked that gun, and would still own it today if I hadn’t made the mistake of buying it in .40 S&W, instead of 9mm or .45 ACP. It’s not the latest design, and it is hammer fired, but it was dead nuts reliable and fairly accurate. I ha...

Re: Props to TAM and TAB

I forgot to mention this before now - work and house-hunting have had me rather flustered, but I want to give a shout-out to TAM and his son, TAB, for being so generous last weekend in helping me get together an AR upper in .300 BLK I've been piecing together for a friend of mine who can't afford h...
