I believe that OK law requires long guns to be unloaded during transport in your vehicle, and restricts handgun carry to .45 caliber and smaller. Other than that, they are in some ways more libertarian in their gun laws than we are. They had open carry before we did, and they passed Constitutional Carry last year.

BTW, I’m considering land in eastern OK too, and also in western AR. If Texas flips blue, I don’t know how long I could bear to continue living here. I already went through this with California, and left because I couldn’t stand to live with the crazies in charge any longer. And from what I’ve seen so far of Texas democrats, they’re no less crazy than the Californian variety. I suspect that OK will remain solidly conservative/libertarian for the foreseeable future. AR isn’t reliably conservative (see William Jefferson Clinton, and his "beard"), but with a piece of remote land up in the Ozarks somewhere, it doesn’t hardly matter what the propeller-heads in the state capitol do.
