Either the Israeli or the Olaes Modular Bandage is a good choice. I personally prefer the Olaes. But you should also have either some Celox gauze ribbon or Quickclot combat gauze clotting agents to pack the wound with under the dressing.....although if you cut an artery of any significance, it will overwhelm the clotting agent eventually. But a clotting agent WITH pressure applied by an Israeli or Olaes dressing will usually do trick.
