Change-Of-Address delays: DPS recommendation

Members who have been on the Forum for a long while know that DPS reads it periodically to get feedback on the LTC Program. I just received an email addressing the change of address issue some Members have discussed. Below is the relevant portion of the DPS email.

I truly appreciate the fact that a State Agency is monitoring our community to get feedback and address operational issues. This is a great example of DPS' commitment to LTCs. When processing tens of thousands of applications monthly, far more than they are staffed to handle, some anomalies are bound to occur. The LTC Division is doing everything they can to minimize problems and to address them quickly when they arise. Thanks DPS!

I have noticed we have had an issue with the COA recently. Some are going through, some are not. Normally, when someone does the COA online, the license is printed within 2 business days. If it is taking over 10-14 business days to get the new license, they should call in and get an update.
