The people coming to Texas from California tend to be conservatives that can no longer stomach their home state.

My input is from realtors who are selling homes to many of these folks coming to the Houston area. On what do you base your opinion?

The demise of permitless-carry has nothing to do with folks coming from California.

Politely disagree based on Beto / Cruz results and the high number of liberals from California that have come to Texas (Travis County and Montgomery County) that followed their employers here. We are over-run with that faction in my neck of the woods.
Employees coming to Texas when they are transferred by their employees are small in number compared to the total population in Texas. The Cruz race results are not Californians voting; it was the result of huge amounts of money pouring in from out of Texas that got Texas Democrats to the polls in near record numbers.
