Re: CA: ATF and police raid home and seize 1000 guns and lots of rounds of ammunition

http://time.com/5586305/los-angeles-mansion-raid-guns-seized/ Time Magazine salivating over gun seizure. Aerial photograph shows a lot of guns. Maybe someone can explain why legal guns are being seized. Said civil war weapons. Said many collector guns, obviously not being treated very carefully. 4a...

Re: Serving in the military in Texas

IIRC, Active military can get a LTC for free from the state, must still pay for fingerprints as well as LTC course. Where are you stationed. Active military also v]can get a Super Combo hunting and fishing license for free. Correct, plus active duty, veterans, and Texas Military Forces may provide ...

Re: Texas Lawmakers Clarify Church Carry Law

I thought the law was pretty clear already. Sounds like some feel good legislation, to fix something that isn't broke. Has there been a problem? I still occasionally run into license holders who think you can't carry into church, either because (i) was not properly explained to them* or they've for...

Indy

Arrived late Tuesday night, making the drive, with trailer, in two days. Staying at the Indiana State Fairgrounds campground, 15 minutes from the convention center. Helped with store setup today, doing firearms inspection Thursday and Friday. Going to attend a couple meetings but not the big ones. C...

Manual says not to only when using a suppressor but quite a few posts on the Ruger forum advise against it.

Received the definitive answer today from RSD. LTC licenses cannot be a PO Box and the LTC/DL addresses must match.

I don't understand the apparent fixation on Whataburger. They are not even our second fast food choice. :biggrinjester: What's your first fast food choice? Dairy Queen? :cheers2: We like Legends and given a choice between Whataburger and Taco Bell, we'll go to Braums. Having never heard of those tw...

Re: A somewhat unique situation.

.... I love the idea, but in the picture, aren't the scissors backwards? The sharp side of the knife should be facing toward the other part of the scissors, not away from it. If you look at scissors the blades are not sharp like a knife[1]. What actually does the cutting is the cutting edges of the...

Square is the answer but... Square is anti-gun and per the user agreement you cannot use Square to sell guns or gun accessories.

It may not be illegal but OC in a state park will probably draw unwanted attention...sooner or later?
I have in three different parks and the only attention I've gotten was from a park police officer who wanted to talk guns for a half hour.

Does anyone have any experience with carrying at PK Lake State Park? I was trying to seeing if that park has any federal ties or not.
It's not a CoE lake so wouldn't be any federal ties. Both parks in the area are government so carry's allowed.
