Square is the answer but... Square is anti-gun and per the user agreement you cannot use Square to sell guns or gun accessories.
Does say anything about training?

It may not be illegal but OC in a state park will probably draw unwanted attention...sooner or later?
I have in three different parks and the only attention I've gotten was from a park police officer who wanted to talk guns for a half hour.

Does anyone have any experience with carrying at PK Lake State Park? I was trying to seeing if that park has any federal ties or not.
It's not a CoE lake so wouldn't be any federal ties. Both parks in the area are government so carry's allowed.

Re: Out of state DL with PO box address

I don't know about an LTC , but I don't think he can purchase a gun with a PO box address. Is he living in Texas now, or still living in Wyoming? We were at Academy at the gun counter talking and the salesman said that they do use a license with PO Box if no physical address is available at all but...

Out of state DL with PO box address

I have a prospective student with a Wyoming drivers license with a PO Box address. Anybody know if this will present a problem when applying for a LTC?

Yes, I do have an email into RSD about it.

Thanks

Re: British Couple (Joel & Lia) Go Shooting

I remember when Britain was Great. Good for them for being willing to try it out, but when the zombie apocalypse happens, they’re gonna die. Now, why didn’t the guy behind the counter start them with a .22, like he should have? And, when I started my boys out with semi auto, I only put 1 round it t...

Re: New Instructor Training Questions

Sorry to say you won't actually learn much about teaching an LTC class in the LTC Instructor's course. If you have the chance, ask a local instructor or two that you like if you can help them RO their qual shoots and audit the classroom portion. You'll get some good ideas about what works or doesn'...

VFW Posts redux

In another thread the subject of VFW posts being 51% came. I recently attended a chicken fried steak night with a friend who belongs and the subject came up. He and the bartender were of the opinion that the 51% included the bar and the open area around it (bar, stage and dining area), but not any o...

Re: Are there any metal detectors at the houston space center

Pocket knives are prob prohibited as well Yes, although 18 USC 930 specifically exempts pocket knives with blades less than 2 1/2 inches I have yet to meet a security officer at a federal facility who was aware of this. Usual response when I pointed this out was a blank stare. Also, some few places...

Re: Texas Parks Reservation System

Why am I always the beta tester? I had reserved a spot at Devil's River for M-F, the 18-22nd. Got a call today from a park ranger. Er, DRSNA is not open on weekdays. That was an error in the reservation system. It's fixed now and they'll contact you.

I used to get paid for this stuff.

Texas Parks Reservation System

In a thread the subject came up of the long-time proposed change to the reservation system to allow selection of campsites. The system had been down for several days and is now back up with a new interface and the campsite selection capability. I just made site reservations at Devil's River and ever...

Saw it today at Alamo Drafthouse New Braunfels. Very powerful and extremely well done. It's playing there for a few days. Was only 2D though.

Re: New York law is an open invitation to home invaders

https://nypost.com/2019/01/21/new-york-law-is-an-open-invitation-to-home-invaders/ There is a reason homeowners can rarely afford to dispense mercy on an overnight invader: Criminal intruders tend to be the dangerous type. What homeowners don’t expect are law enforcers and prosecutors going after t...
