Re: Arduino Experts?

If my ideas have inspired you to build something then this project has already fulfilled half it's purpose. :tiphat: I plan on making an instructable out of this once I get a working prototype. I've already designed the auger, the hopper and the non electronic components, but I haven't printed the a...

Re: Arduino Experts?

I think it would be helpful to post a few details like desired level of expertise, project goal and expectation and whatever else is expected. Just a thought :tiphat: You're probably right. I didn't even consider that details might be important. Trying to build a dog food dispenser that can dispens...

Never did. Nobody I've approached has been interested in assisting on a project that doesn't end in a product or commercial application.

Re: Anyone Going to FW Alliance Air Show?

From 49 CFR 1540.5 Secured area means a portion of an airport, specified in the airport security program, in which certain security measures specified in part 1542 of this chapter are carried out. This area is where aircraft operators and foreign air carriers that have a security program under part ...

If a zombie were somehow able to bite Chuck Norris, it would turn into Chuck Norris.

Chuck Norris built the cabin he was born in.

Chuck Norris CAN eat soup with a fork.

Re: realtor carrying

I met my agent on this forum, so I already knew he carried. However, I still would've noticed the clips of his Crossbreed holster. In fact, I've been "caught" that way by other CHLs. Karma...

Vet Ranch

Check out Vet Ranch on youtube. The channel helps support Dr. Matt's charity. He is a vet outside of San Antonio. He explains it much better than I can, so see the embedded video below. If you don't want to watch the entire 10 minutes, skip to 4:49. He also has a gun related channel, Demolition Ranc...

Re: Dawson Precision Customer Service

Dawson Precision is nothing, except, awesome. The first time I tried to install sights myself I "overfitted" the sight a bit. I drove up to them and not only did they replace it free of charge, but they had one of their gunsmiths show me how to do things right.

Re: Manual Oil Evacuators

I have a Motive Power Extractor. Use it for my mower, 4-cycle trimmer, wife's honda, etc. I have no complaints.

I also use their power brake bleeder and love it. Makes brake bleeding so easy.

Re: Nevada reciprocity may be coming!

I am not a scientist nor expert in what constitutes "expanding gases", however I believe the highlighted "guns" use "compressed" gases and would not be in the same class. of course I could be completely wrong - so don't quote me  Guns using compressed gas rele...

Re: WTT Remington 700 308

Here's what's out there . You decide. Keep in mind that the less popular calibers will cost you more because of their relative rarity. That list does not list .308, which is shocking to say the least. I can imagine that he is fond of .308 due to the fact that he doesn't like .223/5.56 like myself. ...

Re: (galvanic) corrosion Sig P238

The coatings on both the slide and frame should prevent any kind of galvanic reaction. This is definitely a manufacturing defect, and should be handled by Sig. I imagine they'll replace the frame, or the entire gun.
