Sorry for the late reply, the extra i removed with gun oil as stated in the first post.

That's great, It looks as if I wasn't the only one looking to make the engravings stand out..

FILLING IN THE ENGRAVINGS.

I have a Springfield xd 40 subcompact and found a way to color in the engravings.

They sell this stuff called "Rub 'n Buff" at MJ Designs .

All you do is dab it over the engravings and rub it in with your finger and wipe off the excess (I used Outers Gun Oil).

Here are a few pictures of it, Now sorry for the quality of the pictures, they were taken with my cell phone.

Now the pictures do not do any justice to the looks of it at all.

Anyhow, Just thought I would share that with y'all
