Seems like a very odd choice for a murder weapon, spendy too. Most likely stolen and ditched.
Wow! It is pricey at 1700 dollars. You are probably right about it being stolen and dumped. I also just noticed the site I linked above is actually for the full auto version. On the Atlantic Firearms site it is semi-auto and listed as a rifle.

Re: Man Reels in Semi-Automatic Rfile

Here is a kick in the pants. I was curious so I looked up the gun they found. The Galil Ace. It is semi auto but would you believe the manufacturer refers to it as an assault rifle on their own web site? It is not enough that leftists do this but we have manufacturers doing it. "Houston. We have a problem".

Uh oh, someone who lost all their guns in a boating accident may be getting one back....
FORT WORTH, Texas - A fisherman out on Lake Arlington reeled in an unexpected catch on Saturday: an assault rifle.

Police say a man snagged the weapon on his hook while he was fishing with family members.

He pulled it from the water and called Fort Worth police.

Assault rifle? A fully automatic machine gun was at the bottom of a lake?
