Something about that doesn't seem right. I can only think of a few states that allow unlicensed open carry.

Re: Have/Would you ever use your CHL as a genearl purpose ID?

I work at IAH and know that TSA will not, under any circumstances, accept a CHL as a form of ID. I've used mine as ID at security checkpoints at IAH, HOU, MEM, JAN, and SFO (that was fun) before. It's a gov't issued photo ID with name and address. They would not, however, accept a temporary TX DL w...

Re: Good LED carry everyday light?

I just have a $20 mini-maglite from walmart in my car. It's bright enough for any purpose, and it takes AA's, which last a long time with the LED. My wife has LEDs built into her taser, which is still pretty bright, and intimidating.

Re: Have/Would you ever use your CHL as a genearl purpose ID?

I have about 5 forms of photo ID, from school to federal, so it takes a special case to get to the CHL, but I did have to use it a couple times at airports when I first moved to TX and all I had was my temporary (non photo) DL. My passport was expired and MIA, my school ID apparently wouldn't cut it...

The in-laws dropped it off. We've been wanting a dog for a while, but we hadn't really found anything. Apparently they found this one at a store while looking for fish. It's a 50/50 Yorkshire-Maltese mix. His name is Wolfgang.

Re: Harris County Applicants

Wife is at 245 days today. Still getting the Ike excuse. It was hard enough convincing her she needed to get one, but this is getting pretty ridiculous. that is ridiculous I would contact a senator and update him on the situation. I hope your wife receives her plastic soon. Contacted senator and go...
