I'm about the same time line as you. What counties did you report residence/work on your app?

Its going to take more than that, I think, to change gun laws. I think folks are just concerned about the "uncertainty" of our country at the moment.

I haven't even taken my CHL class yet(scheduled for the 27th) and I'm already getting discouraged. What a crock in Austin.

I am at day 81 (or so).

He obviously read a script saying "we have had a 51% increase in applications and we are currently running 120-150 days processing time..." same thing they are telling everyone word for word.

May I ask how many counties you listed as place of residence on the application? I've lived in Lubbock, Wichita and Collin. Wondering if that is going to slow down processing.

Well according to my calculations I should be at 60 days on August the 23rd. I will be giving them a call later this coming week to check on the status. Hopefully at least get a status on my PIN.

Are you counting the day Austin rec'd your app? If that is the case I'm on day 61, no plastic yet ...

Look at my sig. Status changed today to "processing application."

My timeline is in sig. Still "packet mailed" today. Just for kicks, here is a response I recieved on email inquiry. If you notice, I applied online so I rec'd pin. Even told Austin what my pin was. :thumbs2:
