^^^^^^^^^^
Absolutely not.

That would be pandering.

Which is fast becoming a synonym for 'politician' it seems.

This whole thing is gonna be a mess, isn't it? I just pray we get someone other than Hillary in the W/H.

You know there is really nothing wrong with a person 'sincerely' changing their mind or position on a subject. Life and the events that surround us are NOT static. Things change, events and needs change almost daily.

I don't envy ANY of the candidates, since these days...something you said in the 5th grade will be brought up in an effort to discredit you.

Provided someone hasn't changed their position....for political expediency only, then I'm fine with it. Actually,it shows maturity and hopefully, intellectual honesty.

We get it, you don't like Trump.

It's obvious you missed my point. The whole point is that Trump changes for "politically expediency".
No, I've not 'missed' your point. You seem to have a poisoned view of Trump and as such....any and everything he says will be suspect to you. I think....you think you know more about his motives than the man himself? I'm not a Trump supporter either (Cruz happens to be my pick), but I won't summarily condemn him for simply changing his mind on a subject. You are free to do so...of course.

Do you realize that people think this because he refuses to go along with the rhinos and refuses to go against the constitution? Two very good traits, actually the most important traits. The voters of this country really needs to wake up and stop listening to the feel good junk spewing from the likes of Trump. We cannot vote with our emotions, we must vote for our constitution. This is our only hope to stop socialism.

Re: Ted Cruz A Texas

I don't know what the answer is, but I am weary of the childish guttersniping that is going on.

Ben Carson is the only person to not have engaged in it. If he were not so 'timid' acting...he might have been a real force.

Even though I agree with some of Trumps positions and ideas, I have a hard time seeing him as POTUS. Rubio would be swallowed up by Washington...before you can say 'quit that', Cruz is far from ideal, but is at least a constitutional-ist . At this point...I have little respect for any of them (save for Carson).

But in the end...I will cast a vote for the nominee.

Otherwise we will end up with Hillary...and she has already been president once. Also, I don't want to see Bill as 'first lady'.

Re: Ted Cruz A Texas

Beyond that, I am particularly motivated by the SCOTUS and Commander-in-Chief implications for the next four years. (Those decisions will, of course, last a lot longer than the administration that makes them.) To that end, I am willing to vote for the most electable, most conservative primary candidate with all the compromises that implies. And it means I will vote for the GOP nominee in the general election.
^^^^^^^ My position as well.

The person I would most like to be our next president...may not be the nominee. So what! ANY of the candidates will be better for the country than Hillary!

So everyone here and everyone committed to winning this election had better get their butts out there and VOTE for the GOP nominee.

All this pissing back and forth is worthless. In the end there will be ONE GOP nominee and there will be Hillary. Votes will be cast and the person with the greater voter turnout will win. Simple as that.

Now...one more thing to think about: Would you rather see Melania Trump as First Lady or Bill Clinton? Get out and vote!
