Re: California could split into 3 states
What'l happen once all the wage earners completely abandon cali for parts unknown? Who'll the cali government tax then? Once the bums/crazies/criminals are the only ones left.. oh wait, that wasn't pc of me was it? Ahem, once "the homeless' and all the rest of those won't/don't work are left, ...

Re: MI: 14 year old comes to door for directions, shot at by homeowner
Who opens the door to a stranger anymore? The photo in the 5 facts, shows an awfully sophisticated looking 14 year old teenager, who got lost walking to school. Who opens the door and then starts yelling about a burglary? The story just sounds odd. If the police are saying the video is consistent w...

Re: Banks getting in on the action
I pulled out of BofA years ago. When I closed my account, they asked for two forms of picture ID. I used my CHL and DL. The teller didn't like it, but she took it as a second ID. That was the last time I set foot in one of their banks.

If you are just planning on using a light at home, this one seems to work well for me. It attaches and detaches easily and is rechargeable. I haven't put mine through hard use, but it is handy.

Re: Is the .40 dead?
It isn't dead, but it is less popular. I don't see it going away anytime soon. And I agree that not all gun types shoot it very well. Some guns do okay, just a little more recoil. Some guns seem to make the recoil real rough. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that most of the guns were j...

I have the Rex Zero 1. That is close enough for me.
The Legion picture looks pretty nice. I just have mixed history with Sig pistols.

Re: Local Judge sues shooting range, earplug manufacturer
The same ear plugs used for shooting are used in industrial plants and construction sites all over the place (much more industrial/construction use than shooting use). I am sure the manufacturer has plenty of experience defending cases like this.

Re: Local Judge sues shooting range, earplug manufacturer
I think he is going to have to prove that 1) he did no other activities in same time frame that could contribute to hearing loss, and 2) that he lost the hearing at that time. I really doubt he has hearing tests bracketing that day to prove it was based on that one event. I also wonder if range offe...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07T5rVqj9Zk This is youtuber I have watched. He is into historical swords and fighting. Apparently part of the new law says you can't ship knives via the mail to a home. I think he has a sideline business buying and selling swords. Having to go through a store front ...

Re: .45ACP is still my choice for handgun caliber
For arguments sake let’s say a magazine ban passed limiting pistol rounds to 10. Would 10 round capacity change anyone’s preferred caliber? It would change things. If you could only carry 10 round mags with your carry gun, you might be more likely to carry a larger caliber or a smaller gun. Part of...
