With all the arguing over the ligislature's intent with the "clarified" travelling law and over businesses which do not allow employees to carry at work then also not allowing them to keep their weapons in their car, why not make the vehicle an extension of the home? As such we would always be able to keep a weapon in the vehicle.

This would eliminate both concerns, or so it would seem to me. I am not a lawyer, and I am sure there are facets and repercussions to this that I have not considered, but it seems a fairly simple solution.
