Re: Another Meme Thread

Well, if both sides looked the same, how would you know if you placed it correctly?

Ok folks, we have strayed way off the path for the original intent of this topic, memes related to shooting and firearms. Let’s take it back to that subject matter.

Thanks!
Stray off subject? Us!?!?

Love it. Where can the Maga-zines be found?
I think it's laser engraved couldn't find that exact one but I am partial to this one.

I'd like to have a few with the phrase "This is not a clip" engraved on them.
Me too! I want one that says unless your shooting M1 Garand, it's a Magazine!
That would be one big clip, er, magazine to hold all that text.

Trigger discipline, working on stance and grip, no ear protection, but may not be necessary with suppressed .22. Perfect age to introduce to proper shooting technique. Great job Mom!!
Big heavy gun for small hands, proper grip will come with growth. Probably has ear plugs under that hair, always necessary.

Does this make me old since I recall buying 500 rounds for $10?

I have a couple of those little orange plastic boxes that once held 100 rds of .22 ammo. Up until I started using them in my shed to hold odd screws and such you could still make out the .99 cent stickers from Bi-Mart in Oregon where my dad bought them decades ago. A cent per round.
I think my dad still has some of those. unfortunately, they are not 22 lr, so they won't work in my pistol.
I remember saving my allowance money back in about 63 or 64 and buying a brick of 500 .22 long (not long rifle) for $3.50 on sale.
I was working at a big discount chain sporting goods beginning 1965 and we sold Peters .22LR on sale for 29¢ a box/50. By 1966 we were up to 33¢ sale price. The store had just opened in '65. .22 WMR was $2.97. I still have some boxes of both. Still shoot fine.
I had the opportunity to drop by the old Peters plant in Ohio. Long closed when I visited, but the shot tower was still standing and had the creek running through it.
