FWIW, Lubbock radio talk show this morning was saying that Whitmire is quoted as saying he will not give the campus carry bill a committee vote. I suspect this was done in order to get the bill out of committee. If it actually makes it to the House floor, amendments can be added that change the language.

After reading the article, I am more than worried that Campus Carry may not even make it out of that House committee... That would be a setback from last session.
