Re: Son going to the Shot Show!

That’s great!

I hear the SHOT show venue is off limits to carry. You might let him know so he can verify.

Re: Church shooting in Tarrant County - White Settlement

I'm not going to jump into the deep end on this but we also have to understand that we are churches, places that welcome the hurt, the confused, the lost. It is a fine line we walk trying to be welcoming and trying to be safe. There is no doubt that things could have been done differently but that i...

Re: Church Meeting on CHL Topics

Although the Fort Worth site would have been the closest to me, I didn't make my reservation early enough. They are now sold out. So, I will be attending the Olney presentation on 2/8/20. It's 830 AM - 100 PM. Later that day, at 600 PM, they are going to be showing the movie "Faith Under Fire". I m...

I don’t get why "LDYJEDI" would be revoked.
"Jedi" is trademarked so I figure that is why.

I would emphasize penal code chapter 9 on use of force....early in the training and often.
De-escalation techniques.
Recommended book - "Verbal Judo"
There are several books with the same main title but different sub titles by the same author. Is there a specific one or are they all the same?

Www.tacticalmeasure.com. Get the speed ease clips. I have one for almost all of my pistols, and I carry in them every day. Plus, they are Texan made in Lampasas.
I ordered the multifit (fitted to an xd). Not exactly what I’m looking for but for $35 its worth a try.

Thanks for the referral.

In Search Of - Low profile Kydex pancake holster

I’ve been searching off and on for several weeks for a low profile Kydex pancake holster. Most I have found are either large slabs that block access to your pockets and/or they have belt clips that make the holster stand away from the body. Currently I have a leather pancake slide holster that I rea...

The April seminar will be best because LTC Dave Grossman and Carl Chin will speak.
I have been privileged to hear LTC Grossman. Well worth it.

Re: Church shooting in Tarrant County - White Settlement

I found another image of the auditorium from the position the pastor was sitting in (second pew from front). Using people on the back wall for a scale it looks to be 40-45'ish. There is still some perspective to deal with but I think the 15 yard mark is pretty close. [url]https://imgur.com/a/Qmxeub2...

Re: Church shooting in Tarrant County - White Settlement

I only heard three shots. The first two from the gunman who killed the two innocents next to him then the third and final shot from the good guy Mr. Wilson killing the bad guy. I practice regularly at the distance between Mr. Wilson and the bad guy with a steel target and usually manage about 8 hit...

I hope there was not a driver in that one pick up the 18 wheeler landed on. Great running by the Officer. Bet that got his adrenaline going. There was someone in the pickup. It took them several hours to extract him but there were no life-threatening injuries. The officer kept his senses and had th...

Re: 300 blackout subsonic pistol upper

Over at the 300blktalk forum they seem to like the 1/7 or 1/8 for the heavier subsonics. My 7.5" is a 1/7 and works well with supers. Haven't tried subs yet since I don't have my suppressor.
