Is there anyway to change the thread titles from red? It's too hard on the eyes.

I agree

Re: Brass Cleaning

I'm still using my old "business" purchased small ultra-sonic cleaner from 1983 ... deprime, clean and let dry.
I don't care a bit about "shiny" - just clean, inside and out.

Yep, I'm stubborn

Re: What Did You Do In The Reloading Room This Week?

well, since the reloading sub-forum has been quiet for several weeks, I'll add again. My old 336 has been taken out of action for a couple of weeks while waiting to get a new firing pin. It's back so I finally got it back on the range to run some more cast bullets through the chrony. I've been on a ...

I noticed Jacksonville, Tx was stamped inside the box lid. That's less than a hour away from me. You got an address for them? :)

Re: What Did You Do In The Reloading Room This Week?

I've been on a mission the last few weeks working with cast/gas checked bullets (both rifle powders and pistol powders) for my old Marlin 336 30-30. I still love the straight wall revolver/carbine loading (considerably less love for the bottom feeders), but have gotten intrigued by the cast 30-30 lo...

Re: Revolvers

I'm still in the woods and brush quite a bit, as much as I need to retire, so I'm devoted to carrying a 3" SP-101 5-6 days a week. I like to shoot it so much that it's responsible for me taking up reloading 7 years ago. I have full faith in the 5 shots of .357 mag since I don't work in a war zone. S...

Re: Kel-Tec P-32 has become available again

I bought my wife a P32 in about 2007(?) when I was a KT fan. I've had 5 or 6 KT models, and the P32 is now the only one left. I could probably sell or trade it off and she wouldn't notice until the next time she goes to get it to take on one of her girls only trips to smell the flowers some where. A...

Re: Berry's Bullets

Several years ago I loaded a few Berry's 9mm, but got totally hooked on loading nothing but revolver rounds for a long time. When I got back to loading the bottom feeders (9mm and .45 acp) I ended up buying XTreme plated bullets in volume. In only a thousand or so, I don't recall any problems and th...

Re: Kahr P9

I've had a CW9 for almost 10 years and have no complaints. I had originally wanted the stainless MK9 but when searching and finding the nearest one to be about 100 miles away .... and almost $800 ..... I gave up. Then found the CW9, fell in love and had the Trijicon night sights installed (by Kahr) ...

Re: What are your 2018 shooting goals?

after the last 3 years .... my 2018 goal is to be physically able to at least go to the range more often. It ain't easy to turn 60, then almost immediately start being afflicted for the next few years with crazy, out of the ordinary stuff .... but it is what it is.

Re: Another pawn shop find

Unless H&R has gone seriously downhill (like many of the "lower cost" brands have), you probably will get your money's worth. My first handgun purchase, on a tight budget, in 1975 was a H&R 949, 9 shot .22 cal. It was really a reliable revolver and put several thousand rounds out the barrel. Unfortu...
