Yes, Agree.
The Sheriff stated he ran into the club and engaged the shooter drawing fire away from patrons. Other off duty officers were in the club, but all were unarmed (according to the Sheriff). I believe they also shielded people, but were unable to engage the shooter for obvious reasons. I guess even LEO in California do not see the need to be armed off-duty or they were unable to be armed while in the bar/club. Someone from commiefor...err California might be able to give us some insight into possible reasons they were not armed (by statute, personal, etc,)
