Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray
No article yet but one of the Houston area reporters posted this on facebook. I wonder if they were just claiming to see guns as justification for no-knocks. https://www.facebook.com/KHOUJeremyRogalski/photos/a.376858549007523/2620641184629237/ EXCLUSIVE: KHOU11 Investigates past cases of embattled ...

Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray
I posted a link to a video by a News Now Houston (NNH), he is a youtuber who does copwatch/1st amendment audit videos. In the video he shows a map of the house and allegedly how the shootout went down. In the video the biggest new allegations were that the husband, Tuttle, was alive and left to ble...

Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray
I too am upset about what happened, but the Forum is not going to be an outlet for videos authored by persons unknown. They may be 100% accurate, or 100% false and that's the problem, we don't know. Chas. ?? Context? Did I miss a link? I posted a link to a video by News Now Houston (NNH), he is a y...

Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray
Article on the two deceased victims. This raid seems more and more questionable.

Re: Carry in Texas polling place? it depends
Its a move in the right direction, but there really needs to be a push to legalize at the very least concealed carry in polling places. If the logic is that guns shouldn't be allowed in polling places because people will be intimated into not voting, then concealed carry should be fine. Those profes...

Re: State Senate Committee Hearing on School Violence
I testified at the senate hearing, and I was glad I did. I felt the hearing went well and Senate hearing was nowhere near as biased as the House hearing which felt like they were all in for more gun control. I was especially glad last night to hear that the Lt. Governor pretty much said red flag is ...

Re: Four years in jail for killing police officer, no-knock raid, no drugs found, no trial yet
I agree with that last statement, but I think that there should be some limitations on that. For instance, if the felon has been convicted of a crime of violence, or use of a firearm in commission of a crime, or is a recidivist with more than one conviction and sentencing, then maybe they’ve demons...

Re: Four years in jail for killing police officer, no-knock raid, no drugs found, no trial yet
Not sure he was even legal to own a gun. There is a lot more to the story than is out due to the gag order that is in place. Four years in jail for killing police officer, no-knock raid, no drugs found, no trial yet
In my neck of the woods there was the case of Ray Rosas he had a similar home defense shooting with the police but nobody died. He was in jail for 2 years before he got a trial and was acquitted. http://kdhnews.com/news/crime/accused-killeen-cop-killer-marvin-guy-in-court-but-still/article_0764f19e-...

I'm opposed to "red flag" laws, more restrictions on home storage, and criminalizing not reporting a lost or stolen firearm.

If people keep annoying LEO's and saying impolite things to them they are going to get shot or tazed. If a LEO tells you to dance an Irish Jig, your toes better darn well be tapping and you don't need to argue that you're Hispanic so you should be doing a Latin Rumba. Don't argue on the side of the...

Keeping an eye out for "Red Flag" legislation
I saw this today, that atleast part of the ACLU has spoken out against such legislation. http://www.riaclu.org/news/post/aclu-of-rhode-island-raises-red-flags-over-red-flag-gun-legislation The ACLU of Rhode Island today issued a fourteen-page analysis that expresses “great concern” about pending sta...
