I have found mozbackup to be a painless way to transfer all of the firefox data to a new machine.

Re: MSM new latest push - cannibalism - not such a bad thing.

Do not forget that symbolic cannibalism is a long-practiced Christian tradition. It is not taboo in all contexts for our culture. Explain yourself please about Christian cannibalism. There are those Christians who hold that the communion wafer becomes the actual flesh of Christ as it is consumed. I...

Re: TX: 2 West University UPS drivers robbed of their uniforms

It would not surprise me if they intend to wear the uniforms while they steal packages from peoples' front porches during the holiday package rush. This crime seems to be a rapidly increasing problem. The uniforms would give them an air of legitimacy if they were observed by neighbors carrying packa...

Re: Things and Sayings That Annoy!

The misuse of the word "decimate" YES Deci- means ten. Decimate means reduce by one tenth. Common usage has altered the definition in the dictionary, though. I pray they don't alter it further. :biggrinjester: If enough people used the word "dime" when the mean "dollar"...

I purchased some items from them last year during their black Friday sale. As you say, not top quality, but I have had no problems.

Re: Home network question

You might first look at changing the channel the Netgear is using. There may be interference from other devices and some channels may give better throughput. Also, be sure the wireless is turned off on the Cisco device.

Re: Winchester white box question

Many (maybe 10 or 15) years ago I had a squib round in WWB 9mm. The primer fired and pushed the bullet a few inches into the barrel and did not cycle the action. There was no unburned powder to be found anywhere, so I guess that either it missed getting filled at all or the powder was spilled before...

Re: AR-10/AR-15 - Ultimate Jig

With those thick top plates, it looks as if you will need extra long tooling. Not at all, pretty standard stuff Endmill specs: 0.3125" Carbide Endmill 3 flute, 0.750 length of cut, 4.00" overall length 4 inches is pretty long for a 5/16 end mill. There is the potential for a lot of flex. ...

Re: This may be a dumb question

You might watch the batteries in the heat though and be sure you use a good brand of battery. The CR2032 specification is only rated up to 130 degrees F according to the Duracell data sheet, and anything in the sun in the car can get hot pretty fast. II have found that some of the cheap generic bran...

Re: Block Letter Definition

The way the law reads, the letters must be at least one inch high. If all of the letters of the required text are not at least one inch in height, then I would think it is a non-compliant sign.

Re: Son had a weird encounter at Walmart

That is the first thing that is hard to believe. A Wal-Mart security guard? I am not saying they do not have LP staff, but I have never seen Wal-Mart security guard in any Wal-Mart anywhere in my life. Do they have Wal-Mart uniforms? Are they armed? contracted? I saw a person in a security guard un...

Re: Houston School Officials Call Police After Student Tries Buying Lunch With $2 Bill

I read that the real issue was not that it was $2 bill, but that the bill tested as counterfeit with the "money testing pen" that the cashier used. Then, suspecting that the student may have coped a genuine bill on a coper or printer they contacted the police who then took the bill to a ba...
