Yup. I've been saying that since this first occurred and was shown on the news. But not too many folks in the national media listen to me. Actually, none of them do.Grundy1133 wrote:as more info became available about this incident, they said he didn't build a clock... it was a count down timer. Like the ones used to make bombs.

Re: Nerdy 14 year old brings homemade clock to school and is arrested
Guys guys, do not let this kids smile and innocent look fool you. I lean less in the direction of testing the response of the school and everyone else and more in the direction of desensitization or getting people afraid to respond for fear of being labeled racist or islamophobic. I think this kid knew full well what he was doing. Why else would he have been so vague in speaking with the police when they came to the school and uncooperative? Oh, he knew.

Very interesting article. A coordinated attack on the mayor and a staged photo of the kid in handcuffs.mojo84 wrote:I am not convinced his intentions were pure and innocent.

It appears, the “clock” Mohamed brought to school this week was not the first of his circuit boards to look ominously like an improvised explosive device trigger. In fact, a photograph of one circulated by the Dallas Morning News was virtually indistinguishable from a circuit board used in a commercially available device used to train law enforcement and military personnel regarding how to identify IEDs.

Re: Nerdy 14 year old brings homemade clock to school and is arrested
He hasn't even really said why he did this. And I would also like to know why he changed it to a countdown timer. If he was going to pretend to "make" a clock, why not keep it going forward instead of changing it to count down?
Imagine the horror from the left if an average run of the mill white kid had done this.

Re: Nerdy 14 year old brings homemade clock to school and is arrested
Now that we've established that the kid didn't actually make a clock, has anyone caught that it wasn't even a clock in the normal sense of the word? He tweaked it to be a countdown clock.
http://theconservativetreehouse.com/201 ... -activist/That’s what you call an admission of premeditation and intent. In his own words, with forethought, he knew the briefcase with wires and “a countdown clock” would be “suspicious”; especially around 9/11.
