Re: NRA Threads and Bogus Attacks

Charles, Thank you for this statement. We haven't met in person, but I've been here just shy of 10 years. In a sense, I feel like I know you and that you have earned a bond of trust that is usually difficult to do in online interactions. Because of your character that I have seen here the past 10 ye...

Nobody but Barack Obama

Former President outlandishly lies about guns. Chris Loesch retweeted tweet and video from Tom Elliott. Obama tells Brazil crowd: "Some of you may be aware our gun laws in the United States don’t make much sense. Anybody can buy any weapon any time -- without much if any regulation, they can buy it ...

Re: Iraq:Decorated Navy SEAL to face court martial for murder of ISIS fighter

Judge has ordered Chief Gallagher released from pretrial custody due to misconduct of prosecutors. His attorneys have requested the case be dismissed due to the misconduct. The judge has not ruled on that motion yet. Trial is set for June 10th. A decorated Navy SEAL facing a murder trial in the deat...

Re: Firearm in vehicle at work

IANAL... I wouldn't "fight it". I would just keep quiet. If you let them know that Texas law prohibits them from terminating you for having a weapon in your vehicle, they might state a different reason for the termination. If they are as anti-gun as you state, I would fear they might find a reason t...

Re: Fort Worth Zoo vs. Texas State Fair

Possible confusion from Star Telegram article we discussed here: https://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=87067 But as I noted in that thread: " After review, the OAG determines the 30.06 signs at issue were posted by the association, which possesses the exclusive right to post signage on the z...

Those dates are of the server host, not the actual document dates. Looking in some of the directories, they have the UNIX epoch time of Jan 1, 1970. So these are stored on some flavor of UNIX or Linux.

If you want to know more about UNIX epoch time: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_time

Re: Iraq:Decorated Navy SEAL to face court martial for murder of ISIS fighter

In March, President Trump tweeted that he ordered him moved to less restrictive confinement. But it looks like his CO is defying his CIC and the Constitutional rights of the accused with regards to privileged communications with his attorneys: https://americanmilitarynews.com/2019/04/navy-seal-famil...
