Played around with some Rustoleum yesterday - the "Flat Brown" has a redder tone than I wanted/expected, but it'll do for now:

Anyone else?
That would blend perfectly with dead oak tree foliage! :thumbs2:

https://nypost.com/2019/08/22/barack-and-michelle-obama-are-buying-15m-estate-in-marthas-vineyard/ Obama’s are buying a 15 million dollar vacation home on Martha’s Vineyard. 24 acres on the ocean. Oh wait. They are buying a fancy home next to the water where it could be flooded by rising seas from ...

Re: Man trespassed for life from ALL Walmarts for OCing a holstered handgun

An interesting though crossed my mind. If the LEO told him to sign that form offered up by a corporate entity to enter into a binding agreement (contract) that seems like legal advice. It would be like a bailiff telling a defendant he should sign a plea agreement. What say any lawyers - am I way out...

I must have missed the yelling at the gun counter part. There was nothing in what I read (unless I totally missed it) that said he was yelling. ... You're not from around here are you. Not sure where your here is. Lol I’ve been in my here for 12 years. And on here for quite a few of those. 12 years...

I m looking for 0-300, 300-600-, and 600-1000 yards range. I have shot out to 600 but need an instructor for longest range.
I appreciate your help. Will apply for Bayou rifles next opening.
Thanks,
I also have a lot of once fired brass to sell, .45, 308.

Watching Acevedo's news conference. I threw up a little in my mouth listening to him about his investigation.

Re: Man trespassed for life from ALL Walmarts for OCing a holstered handgun

The officer that handed him the form is an idiot. He did a tirade about how many officers had to deal with the issue and that the guy puts the public at risk with his OC every time he does it. Like I say a total dummkopf! That's when the customer should have replied the cop is statistically more lik...

Welt was glued in place and clamped overnight to dry. Came home at lunch to set out the holes (using a Dremel, thanks to flechero's great tip): https://i.imgur.com/HaRwTdY.jpg I wish I'd have known about drilling the holes back when I made some sandals on the 60's. I know getting through two layers...

"The data shows (Newsom’s statement) is completely and totally incorrect," said Jennifer Friedenback, executive director of San Francisco-based Coalition of Homelessness. "Newsom knows better, by the way."
Sure he does, but being a progressive liberal he just can't tell the truth. :mad5

Maybe its my cynicism but I read that article as a dog whistle to the leftist to further attack the NRA and blame the NRA for controlling Trump.
They don't need any ammunition to attack the NRA, they can simply make it up. Where truth is concerned the left is not even in the same building

Re: .22 pistol choices

I'm considering buying one of the following (with threaded muzzle for a later Form 4 suppressor) to have a compact, inexpensive but sturdy trainer (no, I don't want a 1911 conversion-kit or one of those pot-metal 1911 .22 pistols). Seeing as my favorite little Beretta 71 .22 is very rare in this co...

Re: Holster part 2

I just need it dry enough for the edges to stay more or less where they are before gluing the welt in place, so just a few hours. The leather is just damp enough to fold, not soaking wet. Welt to be glued: https://i.imgur.com/CuAygCa.jpg If you don't have one, I recommend an edge burnisher to finis...

Re: .22 pistol choices

I have Browning Buckmarks which I chose over the Ruger. With that said between the two mentioned I'd take the Ruger unless the goal is to acclimate a new shooter to modern polymer semi-autos in order to step up to one in a larger caliber.
