Re: W.O.W. Classic

I am definitely getting old. I have no idea what philip964 just said. I hit translate but nothing. :iagree: That game rocks. Is it like the original? They play it with rocks? :smilelol5: Oh... OK... I have played that game before. We would hit them with sticks. Sticks, that reminds me of ...

Re: Walmart has fallen!

Went to Wally World in my way home (it’s a Wally World off of 290). All federal 223 sold and all federal 9mm sold(which is usually the am I buy since it is cheap) guy at counter said 3 days ago the case was full. Unbelievable. If Walmart believes what it is doing is right and that MSRs are causing ...

Re: Reported: Active shooter in Odessa, TX

And here we go... turns out the Odessa shooter did not buy his weapon in a private sale! He bought the weapon from a man that was illegally manufacturing and selling ARs. So it was a totally criminal act. It would not have been stopped by universal background checks. It is the prima facia case that ...

Re: Walmart has fallen!

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EDkEQRdWkAAmHsf?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 :iagree: incredibly ridiculous. Walmart is a private company and has the right to set whatever policies it sees fit. If you don't like it, don't shop there. I am shocked at the blatant disregard for private property rights with r...

What if we got a double pinky swear for people we have known for more than 5 years. A genetic sample from all others. And a triple double serious promise not to use the gun for anything bad...

Re: Walmart has fallen!

I've never been a proponent of OC; therefore, 30.07 in any form upsets me not a bit. :tiphat: I’ve never been a fan of revolvers so if Texas were to ban them, I wouldn’t care a bit. :biggrinjester: Exactly. Just one more step closer to banning all carry. Normalize banning one, the other doesn't see...

Re: Walmart has fallen!

So define handgun ammunition... I have rifles that fire .45 acp and 9mm. I have pistols that fire .223 .300 and 45-70. This is just trying to please those who will never be pleased until they stop selling all guns, ammo, knives, hatchets, sharp sticks etc...no win scenario . They lost my business.

Re: Walmart has fallen!

Well this is sad. They are stocked up like crazy. They had 4 different brands of 223. I just bough 10 boxes of federal 55 gr 200 rounds for 57 bucks a box.

Now I have to go explain this purchase... to her...

Re: Walmart has fallen!

Buh bye Walmart. I spend about 400 bucks a month there. Groceries and misc. No more. And I'll get my relatives to stop as well.

Headed to Walmart to see if I can buy some ammo before the ban.

Texas Lt Gov calls for end to private gun sales?

Apologies if I caught this wrong but I just tuned in to KTRH to listen to Rush and heard the interim news sound bites. One had Lt Gov Dan Patrick saying that the NRA needed to get right with the Governor and look at ending private gun sales loophole. In his own voice there was an audio recording say...

Re: Universal Background Checks: An American Fantasy

Andy, I understand you posted it for future reference, but I've thought about this stuff many times. I've pointed out that there are nowhere near enough LEOs, particularly Federal LEOs, to remotely enforce something of that nature, even if they were all dedicated just to that task. It's not a matte...

Technically he did nothing wrong except maybe if the da wants to charge him with disturbing the peace...

Re: NRA and Red Flag Laws

So NO. No red flag laws. NO registration. NO "regulation" of private intrastate sales. NO age limit increases. NO magazine or accessory restictions. NO semi-auto center fire restrictions. The time for compromising is over. The new argument should be for repealing existing unconstitutional restricti...
