I appreciate the replies. Lesson learned on this one, no more unknown visitors to the property.

Re: Carrying on someones private property
I just post no trespassing signs. If I invite someone on my property, they are welcome to carry. Even if you do not know the individual from something other than an email exchange? I agree that it was wreckless, just trying to see if there is another solution besides signage and/or an oral warning.

Carrying on someones private property
I cannot seem to locate an answer to this question in the statutes, unless by private property you mean a business. I was wondering if it would be legal to carry at someones residence without their permission. Had an instance the other day where someone that was invited over to a friends house (on 1...

Re: Black hills leather
I use one of their IWB holsters for my FNP .40 and I love it. If things start dragging on just shoot Rudy an email inquiring about it... thats what I did and it was shipped 4 days later (after about 1.5 months of waiting... this was back in November 08).

Looking for IT job in the Dallas/Plano/McKinney/Rockwall...
... areas. Anyone know of someone hiring? I am currently doing onsite Desktop Support for our company and have 18 months experience (well, ~1 year in Network Operations and ~8 months Desktop Support). We are a small company (~130 users) and as such, my job encompasses a lot more than just Desktops. ...

Re: AR-15: Cartridge stuck in chamber
I subscribed to one theory when in the military (98-02) and convey it to all my friends that own AR-15's..... there is no such thing as too much CLP. Had 1 malfunction (basic training) on the range, started pouring the CLP on and never had a problem after that. This was on Ft Knox as well... no assi...

He doesnt need to forget. That was an employer/employee contract and he is no longer an employee, no 30-06 posted means carry away.

Check out Adrenaline Proving Grounds right outside Greenville, TX on 380. Its a public range but it has a few things going for it.... its outdoor, rifle up to 300 yards and they are a bit looser on the rules (I was there Saturday and there was a guy shooting 2 .50cal rifles). http://www.apgtraining....

Re: Brother needs advice about near altercation...
If you are really feeling threatened, one thing my instructor told us when dealing with that kind of confrontation was to attract as much attention to yourself and the perp BEFORE you have to draw your weapon. Dont get all crazy but what he demonstrated to us is to raise your voice and say something...

Re: Taser International advises to avoid chest shots
Screw that, if you have earned the right to get tazed you (as the individual) take the risks. The only thing that does is make the officer second guess and/or delay shot reaction. The harder it is to acquire a target the greater chance the BG has time to get away/retaliate. I'd say that more protect...

Re: Ever Been Penalized For Non-Attendance/Jury Duty
I had Jury Duty earlier this year (Jan. 20), they summoned 75 people and only 20 showed up. One guy frankly asked the judge, "Whats going to happen to the 55 people that didnt show up?" The judges answer... nothing. They were going to be put back in the pool of potential jury duty servers....

Re: A disappointing State Fair episode 10-1-09
Since I havent seen any successful communication/resolution on this matter, I went ahead and sent an email to my State Representative Dan Flynn (very pro-CHL guy). First I will start with the posted policy of the State Fair as it reads on their website... "...a gun? No, with one exception. A pe...

Re: Still waiting.....
Well, Im official... I Wally Walked it yesterday. Not very documented as my wife is out of town and my son (3) was with me. Was there for about 45 minutes and I did find a 100 pack of .40 FMJ that I, of course, picked up. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3/dsimoneaux/Misc/0907091938.jpg I was a lo...
