BETA C mag, anyone using one?

The UPS gods were kind today and brought me a beta c mag. I was wondering if anyone had been shooting with one. Anyway I will have a range report on it soon. I also picked up some 55g v-max rounds that I am looking forward to shooting.
Thanks

Re: XDM opinions - problems

Ouch!!! My Buds would never let me live that one down. But to keep with the OP, I have/had 3 XD's 2 in .40 (gone) one in 9mm (wifes). I never had any problems, she was easy to break down and clean, lots of aftermarket toys. Only thing for me was the grip. I have short fingers and wide hands. XL glov...

Re: Shoulder Holster for a 1911

Well, I am usually wearing a tank and t shirt. So a light weight button up and tank will be fairly normal for me. At work I am usually in a heavy work shirt and undershirt. I looked at the Galco and will be checking on one personally soon.

Shoulder Holster for a 1911

Well, I am in the market for a tight shoulder holster for a kimber pro series. I would like something that is high and tight to the arm pit. I have had a recent outting with my crossbreed IWB and would like something that will not show when my shirt rides up.
Thanks

Re: Clothing Choices

Here at home it is mostly cargo shorts, tank top and t-shirt. At work its Carhartt double thigh (wranglers wont hold up), and heavy long sleeve shirt and work boots.

Re: Active CCW, how do you?

Well, it looks like I will be doing mostly the same thing and trying some tall T-shirts. I don't see changing my posture while changing a tire but thanks Doc. :tiphat:

Re: Active CCW, how do you?

If we could ever get the Open Carry legislation passed I think that a Judge will be on the short list. Mainly for snake charming when out on the trails. But until then I need to be sneaky about my carry.

Re: Active CCW, how do you?

I don't think that it bothered anyone but I don't like being outed. Or at least the loudly "Is that a gun?" and continue on after being shushed. Most of my friends carry but I was in a group that I didn't know. I have a Tac vest and yes it is a little warm, as the T-shirts are pretty long ...

Re: Active CCW, how do you?

I agree there, we have come up on some strange dudes out there. Heck, I have even wheeled with some. You never know who is going to show up in a run. I only knew 2 out of 20 or so folks.

Re: Active CCW, how do you?

I believe that the shirt rode up when I was trying to slide a tire under the axle. :headscratch
