House passes Bill expanding back ground checks to close Charleston loophole.

Try not to raise your blood pressure reading this.

If you remember he passed his background check.

Lying is just how it works today.

Murderer appeals death sentence.

Seems a waste of taxpayer money, but might work in California.

Let’s get this guy to the needle as quick as possible.

Dylan Roof background check flaw allowed him to buy the gun. FBI held up his purchase, but then failed to pursue with in the three days so Dylan was able to come back and purchase the gun despite his admission of substance abuse.

So does the buck still stop with the president. Or does he get another pass.

Per Snopes " False" he wasn't taken to Burger King. He ate Burger King take out while under police custody.

The small town police station he was taken did not have facilities to feed him.

Denial of food during questioning would be considered torture

Let's hope it was the junior burger and water.

The link is about Louis Farrakhan saying something bad about "white" people, he mentioned that the police gave the alleged murderer a Burger King lunch after killing the 9 people.

I guess the point he was making, was that he was being given some sort of reward by the police for his actions.

First did it happen? Second is that standard procedure? Third it's not like it's Whataburger.

Re: Church shooting Charleston SC

I thought maybe the NSA was reading all the websites in the world to find the possible terrorists.

That would have been good idea in this case.

And doesn't have any constitutional issues.

I totally agree.

What I still find interesting that after all these days the press still discusses gun control and the confederate flag but at the same time fails to mention, the drugs he was taking and the fact guns were illegal in that church.

People who get their news only from the T V will be forever clueless about these facts.

Re: Church shooting Charleston SC

http://www.foxcarolina.com/story/172515 ... urg-church" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Someone has already posted about the Spartanburg Church SC shotgun incident. Many thanks for pointing it out.

What was interesting about my search for this particular news story was how many news stories failed to mention that the reason the members of the church were able to apprehend the mentally unstable man who entered their church with a shotgun was; that a member of the church was a licensed concealed carry permit holder and was armed and confronted the man when he entered the church with his drawn handgun.

The difference here between these two South Carolina Church incidents was that in one: no one was hurt, no guns were fired and it barely made the news. In the other nine innocent people were killed and it became a national tragedy. Licensed Concealed Carry makes a difference.

Here is a link to a liberal news site which conveniently omits the CHL doing his job and protecting the flock. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/2 ... 78752.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Rachel Martin I hope you will continue to find out more about licensed CHL and learn to understand that when a state adopts licensed concealed carry, everyone in that state is safer as the criminals do not know who has or does not have a gun.

Re: Church shooting Charleston SC

http://mobile.wnd.com/2015/06/big-list- ... d-killers/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here is a list of mass murders and the killers drug use.

A second point:

I responded to a question by a poster on a progun control website, who asked about where the poster could suggest gun bans reduced murders.

I suggested politely that Mexico was a place where gun were banned.

My post was removed and I was permanently banned from the website.

I hope the new members to the website will understand that Mr Cotton's website enjoys all posts that are polite and obey the other fair rules of the site.

I have found from my time on this site that Mr. Cotton is an intelligent honorable man. If for an reason someone found his comments in any way objectionable, I have no doubt that it was unintentioned.

The world would be a much finer place, if there were only more people like Mr. Cotton.
