Idiots...of course the story says "French people" so sure the massive numbers of non-French people in the country are not turning in guns and ammo.

The French must love to die as defenseless sheep.
I thought the use of the word surrender, rather than turn in or give up was very appropriate.

Oh its apparently pretty bad in France right now. A letter has been written signed by 20 ex French Generals saying a civil war is about to start.

"About 1,000 servicemen and women, including some 20 retired generals, put their names to the letter." It comes near the anniversary 60 years ago when there was a failed coupe d' tat against Charles De Gaul, over giving up Algiers.
