Re: Texas Law/code??
I think this is clearing up for me.
After I read again with the template of:
* You can legally carry anywhere that is not listed in PC 46.03 or PC 46.035, except for private property that is posted with a complaint 30.06 sign, and federal property (in most cases).

Yep. The psychos and socio-paths live among us....And may God rest and have mercy on those tormented, sick souls. But, myself nor my family are the venue for their sickness. And, that is why I carry +P JHP rounds.

Re: Pulled over the first day I got my CHL
For what ever it is worth:
I recently was chatting with a Texas Trooper (not a stop...we were at Chick-fil-A) and I brought up my CHL. I asked him that...as I understood the law I was NOT required to present my CHL to any officer if I was not carrying? He said I was correct. I then asked him what ...

Re: Help with wife
Happy wife....happy life.
But...you don't sound happy...the fallacy of that statement. Boy this is a tough one. Sometimes (most times) what is truly loving is what feels the most like death (to yourself).
However, (aren't you glad the however is here)....
As mentioned many, many times in this ...

Hey Jim, I appreciate where you are coming from. I really do. I hope I have communicated that...if not I apologize. Sometimes forums sound like arguments...I hope I am not coming across that way. I see this more like a us at a table with beers. You are making me think (re-think) and I like that ...

Jim, thanks for the reply. I do agree that things to happen and our differing experiences and life histories guide us in our philosphies of how we approach life.

Re: Visiting friends' homes
I guess I will be the only dissenter among the bunch. I very much understand the carry 24/7 now that I have had my CHL for a while. At first I never intended to carry that much and once I started I do feel naked without it. However, I do not feel 'naked' in my own home or that of friends and family ...
