Re: Can the USPS get any worse?
Lately 1 out of 3 packages make side trips somewhere else before getting to my place. Mail to my house routes thru Ft. Worth and on to me 165 miles away. Most side trips leave Ft. Worth at 9:30 pm on the way to who knows where before going back to Ft. Worth and then to me. It shows to be in transit ...

Re: My Bank Account Hates it When New Guns are Announced
My ridiculously long wishlist has had a Wilson Tactical Supergrade on it for, well, a very long time. But it's not likely that I'll ever plop down the $5,700 for one...unless I win the lotto. Just not in the financial bracket where I can spend that much on a carry gun. But I've had three Springer 1...

Re: Online Firearm Auction
Buyers premium is ridiculous (18%). What happened to seller paying auctioneer to sell their product and not the buyer? This policy has stopped me from attending auctions anymore. Seller should take the hit from sale and not the buyer unless they pay too much as I have seen many times.

Have a small envelope style package coming to Vernon, Tx maybe. Left Oklahoma City 3 hrs away and showed up in Mira Loma, CA. Left there and next stop was Phoenix, AZ. Left there and where it shows up next is anyones guess. From Phoenix it traveled to Dallas and as of this morning it is now in OKC ...

Re: New Problem! M1A or M1 Carbine
I was so shocked at seeing the Carbine that I didn't check anything about it. I didn't look to see what year it was stamped with or anything other than the price. Next time I'm there I'll do a more thorough inspection and ask about some details. If it is WWII era for sure then it's coming home with...

Re: Anyone Else Remember Gibsons?
Have an 870 Wingmaster 12 gauge my Uncle bought me in 1964, no telling how many thousand shells have been through it. Have others bought from Gibson's but that was the first. Last one a model 70 Winchester .308 in 1979 shortly before local store closed. Also bought all my reloading supplies for for ...

Re: Mean streets of Dallas
We need to build a lot more jails. I'd argue we need to build more gallows behind courtrooms. How about bigger courtrooms with gallows included so as to save time and money. Adjudged guilty with a decree of hanging sentence don't waste any time. Straight to the noose from the sentencing no leaving ...

Re: Attempted to buy a Kimber Pro Carry ll on Gun Broker
You can contact Gun Broker and they will take action on your behalf. I filed a complaint with them and they were not interested in pursuing it even with all the info I gave them. This was after the first non sale and again after the second non sale. This was with the new owners so maybe they didn't...

Re: House Democrats’ ‘Assault Weapons’ Ban Prohibits Semiautomatic Pistols Too
Back in 1959 Russian leader Nikita Khrushchev (First Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union) said the way to topple the United States was from inside the US itself slowly but surely. It appears the culmination of his statement is nigh upon us with the party we have in charge now. Slowl...

Re: Attempted to buy a Kimber Pro Carry ll on Gun Broker
03Lightningrocks there is a lot of sellers running price up on guns that are on Gunbroker. Six months back or so I bid on a gun with no reserve and a buy now format. I won the bid ($350 lower than buy now price) and next morning went to make pay arrangements to find it had sold to someone else. Appa...

Re: WTB 12 Ga Coach gun
Have you checked pawn shops? I took an old sxs with terrible looking wood on it and a long bbl to the chopsaw. Squared up in saw and very slowly cut bbl off. Stripped stock and refinished with Howard Feed-N-Wax Orange Scent Wood(beeswax). Pulled front bead and redrilled shortened bbl and installed f...
