Re: Cruz is out.

1. At this time, a 3rd party candidate is not going to get enough votes to win the general election

2. Donald Trump claims to be pro-gun. He has two rabidly pro-gun sons, especially Don Junior. He has made billions as a successful businessman and has created many, many jobs for Americans. He has donated to Democrats, which is pretty much a necessity to get anywhere in business as a New Yorker. He has also donated almost twice that much to Republicans.

3. Hillary Clinton is an outspoken gun control advocate who wants to destroy gun rights in the country, by her own admission. Her child is extremely anti-gun as well. The list of Hillary's crimes is a mile long as well, many of which have resulted in the deaths of Americans and American servicemen.

Trump? Maybe he'll turn out to be a liberal. Maybe he'll try to screw us all over. Maybe he'll try to destroy the country. Maybe he'll try to force gun control down our throats. Maybe he'll be against our military...

...But Hillary definitely will.

That makes the choice easy.

It'll be a tough pill to swallow for some people, and some people (including my best friend) put every last egg into the Cruz basket and hated Trump so much (mostly due to clickbait Facebook tripe) that they will refuse to look "foolish" by actually voting for him. But that's a choice they'll have to make.

Regardless, this election cycle has been an eye opener for many and confirms that the GOP is pretty much useless as many of us have known for years.

ETA: On the plus side, at least Trump is a candidate who is willing to say what we want to hear, versus trying to tell us what we should think.

Re: Cruz is out.

When it comes down to two people that most claim to be similar, I'd vote for the one with at least one pro-gun kid.

Chelsea ain't it, but Don Jr. is.

So that settles that for me.

Either way, this election cycle is really proving how broken the GOP is. The fact that they couldn't put up a single worthwhile candidate is telling, while it took a NY businessman to actually take a stand (real or not) and tell people what they actually wanted to hear, instead of being told what they SHOULD think.
