Re: May Employers fire Employees for Defending Themselves?
Every little while these cases and new ones crop up. The short answer is, "It depends."
I think a shorter answer is "Yes".
:iagree: I have the right to free speech but if I say bad things about my employer, they can fire me even if what I said was true.

The occasional comment is one thing but I don't think many adults like being nagged.

Re: Yet another questionable dog shooting by a LEO?
I also cited a Dept. of Justice report issued in 2012 which "emphasized that serious dog bites in the line of duty were very rare, and no particular breed is especially dangerous, so officers have little reason to feel fear when encountering a canine in the performance of their duties. When an ...

Re: Texas September renewal with valid Utah license
That language for carrying past expiration was removed because an unintended consequence would have been Texas CHL's having to go through NICS checks again. The exemption does not apply if the license period is longer than 5 years.

I think it would be better to drop them off in the Amazon rainforest with the clothes on their backs and the contents of their pockets, and see who makes it back.

NOTE: The AT&T Center is city owned AND improperly posted with 30.06 signs. I know there have been plenty of discussions on city-owned buildings and 30.06 signs--that is not my question. I am only curious what the consensus is on whether concealed handguns would be permitted.

Re: It's called Operation Troll The NSA.

Re: Special Session -- 2013
