Re: "Nobody has ever stopped a mass-shooter..."

None of the liberal, feel-good, social and/or educational policies in Florida stopped that young man from shooting up his high school and then calmly walking away.

Including the off-duty border patrol officer who interrupted the San Diego synagogue shooting?!?

With this pattern of behavior, I expect to see Chief Art on the ballot for the next open congressional seat.

Fishing accidents have increased alot over the past week, I'm sure that some things have been lost in local lakes never to be seen again!............am I Right? The only thing more cowardly than not fighting for our rights and liberties is cowering by burying in the backyard, fishing accidents, and...

I like it out there, and used to camp out behind the rodeo grounds occasionally. Haven't been in a long time.

If you look at everything he has authored and coauthored this session, HCR 88 appears to be one load from a giant factory.

I have a Lee set, carbide, 90622. They're in the older, round, vertical plastic box, not the newer, flat, rectangular one. I don't think they've ever been used.

$250 million? I don't know how Bezos will ever afford that now that isn't getting $3 billion from AOC.

I agree with not needing any new laws. What we need is the supreme court to strike down the unconstitutional laws that are in place now.

I think the parking lot law only applies to employees, not to visitors or anybody else.
That is my understanding too, and that it does not apply to contractors either.
TDCJ has the same policy as above in both the volunteer handbook and visitor guidelines.

You can find TDCJ's policy here https://www.tdcj.texas.gov/connections/ ... 20no5.html
Officers should be familiar with policy, as it applies to them and to visitors.

Re: 30.06 Ruling Letters

I think this is good news. However, why are the fines so low? Why threaten with huge fines if the State is not going to use them? The judge ruled that there was only evidence of violations during 6 days. This sounds like a weak judge to me doing everything he or she can to lessen the penalty on the...

Re: 30 % of Texad ISDs Allow Teachers to Carry

I believe the headline is a little misleading. There is a difference between having select faculty members who are armed and trained for school security, and allowing teachers to carry.
