Re: Speaker Bonnen's betrayal of Texas gun-owners

Chas, are there rules in place that a bill must go to committee A vs B? If a bill historically goes to Homeland security for consideration, is it required, or just normal? Could the type of bill that in the past has always gone to homeland security, in this session be put to some other committee? If...

Normally I am skeptical of state mandates but I'm starting to recognize the benefit of yellow vests for safety... Thoughts?
My thought... Who is this proposal coming from? Name please. What is the bill number?

Re: Parker County Deputy Shot in Foot

Deputy Turner also said the gunman took off as he crawled back to his cruiser to call for help. IANAL but it seems like a false statement about a shooting would taint any testimony the deputy ever gave in court, as well as any affidavits he signed to support search warrants. There’s no word on if D...

The problem is "Proportionality". You can't introduce a firearm (use of deadly force) into a fist fight. Once again, we see CCWers fail to MYOB (Mind Your Own Business). Let just say I disagree. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/one-punch-attack-man-cctv-police-appeal-trafalgar-square-des...
