Re: Texas State Fair Carry Rules
Yeah, the East Texas State Fair in Tyler is a LOT smaller than the State Fair in Dallas. It would definitely be cool if they had a manufacturer auto show here, but I doubt it will ever happen.

Re: 642 J-frame
A pocket holster is a necessity for pocket carry.
I agree!

I’m pretty sure I found this holster on eBay. It’s about as lightweight as you can possibly get (which is why we carry a J frame) while covering what needs to be covered when in the pocket, but ...

Re: 642 J-frame
I pocket carry my 642 sometimes, too. It has been a while since I’ve shot it. I should probably take it out back to the wood line & go through a few cylinders.

Re: TSA Approved Lock or Non-TSA Approved Lock?
The reason they would not accept a military ID or LTC is that they do not meet the Federally mandated "Real ID" criteria, i.e. the gold star on your drivers license. While other forms of ID may be acceptable in Texas, only a Real ID is acceptable to TSA.
And Atlanta Hartsfield has such a huge ...

Re: Review (sort of) of beretta's 92x centurion
For the night sights I would recommend the Ameriglo Spartan sights. The front is a bright orange circle with Tritium in the middle & the rear is blacked out plus the Tritium dots. All the Vertec slides (M9A3/4, Elite LTT, & 92X), the 92A1, 90-two, and even the old 8000 series Cougar use the same ...

Re: Flat Trigger For Beretta
The only aftermarket trigger for the PX4 that I’ve seen is the steel one that Beretta offered that LTT recommends against. There are a bunch of options for the 92, though.

FS: CAA Roni brace for Beretta M9/92
I bought this from Brad Taylor last month ( https://berettaforum.net/vb/showthread.php?t=153319 ) & finally took it out to shoot today. I only put like 5 rounds through it. There’s nothing wrong with it. I just did not like how it felt to shoot. The brace puts the gun just too close to my face for ...

Re: Stoeger ST9 9mm Pistol - Anyone tried one?
I shot a few mags through one. It worked like it should but there wasn’t anything special about it.
When it was first introduced there was some speculation that it might be Stoeger’s version of Beretta’s APX, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Re: TSA Seizes Record Number Of Guns At Airport Security Checkpoints
I’ve seen a few people caught with guns in their bags. One was a Glock 43 & the other was a Keltec P3AT. Both said they forgot the gun was in there. The Glock guy said it was the 2nd time that’s happened to him. Both were allowed to take it back out to their vehicles.

Re: Anyone Carry A Beretta Px4 Storm Compact Carry
I have a .40 PX4 Compact Inox. I copied most of the mods that were done with the Compact Carry. The same sights, large mag release, Carry decock levers, bobbed NP3 hammer, Talon grip, springs, etc, but not the coated slide, Comp trigger group, or OP Trigger bar. I did modify the Firing Pin Block ...

Re: Beretta 92X - Talk me out of it (or into it!)
I’m going to recommend the Centurion size. It takes the same mags as a fullsize, but has the slightly shorter 4.3” barrel. It balances very well & is a bit easier to carry. I have 3 that size. I’ve only had a single Compact (Inox M9A1), but I didn’t care for the grip size.
