Re: New RD Warren Holster

Please pardon my ignorance on this. Is the first holster pictured meant to be worn iwb, owb, or is it able to work either way? All of them are OWB belt holsters. The ones with snaps allow you to put the holster on or take it off without having to unbuckle your belt. Two of the three Warren holsters...

Re: Reduced Les Baer Custom Carry Blued

Is this the full-size 1911 or smaller one? I know of the brand but certainly cannot claim to be an expert. I'm sorry if I'm missing something obvious that would tell me. I can't quite be sure from the picture and what I have found online suggests it would be but the "carry" part of the nam...

Called. Support was politely expressed. I was surprised that I was able to speak to a person as well.

Re: HB1911: Rep. White's Press Release

The big question from my perspective is what this version of the bill contains. There were at least 2 substitutes from what I can tell. I guess the only thing to do is wait.

Re: SB 16 - priority bill, reduction of LTC fees

While I certainly agree that our right to bear arms is a right and therefore should not come with a fee, I feel I must ask this. Will this bill, if passed, potentially cause impedance to LTC/CHL holders in any way? My first thoughts would be: With the CHL/LTC, we have already had times where applica...

Re: Hey DFW people, especially north side

The Snooty Pig in Grapevine. It's next door to the Minyards on Hall Johnson Road, just west of 121. I've OC'd in there, and nobody seemed to care. This is about 45 minutes out for me which is reasonable. I'd certainly be willing to give it a shot. The complications that I bring to the table all inv...

Re: Hey DFW people, especially north side

If I may suggest, perhaps the location can be selected based on a business that is known to be particularly 2A friendly, if there is a known place that meets the criteria. I am aware of several businesses that have taken the time to put up signs indicative of their support and welcome for licensees ...

Alright, the day has come that I thought would never come. I have been persuaded by the Brady bunch. I have to admit that they convinced me...to vote for Rick Perry!

Re: Starting to love Glocks

I was not a Glock fan for a long time. I did not love or hate them. I had no opinion. Somehow, I spent the first 10 years of my adult (21+) life without ever even picking one up. Once I was finally introduced to them, I was hooked. I now own a few and the G26 is my EDC.

Re: used handguns

I once encountered a pawnshop selling a .22 cal GSG MP5 clone. They wanted $1200. I almost fell over. When they saw my obvious shock over the price, they told me it had a "conversion kit" on it. They couldn't really tell me what was converted since it was a .22 to start with and still a .2...
