I suspect (pure conjecture), that these realtors are seeing conservative and conservative leaning Californians purchasing real estate in suburban and even rural areas. I would wager that a realtor who specializes in urban condos or apartments is seeing a different picture. Californians who are bringing their collectivist ideas with them will gravitate towards these densely populated areas. My conjecture is based on the trends in voting districts from recent election.Charles L. There is no question that Texas is trending to the left. The big question is: Are these "new" liberals home grown and indoctrinated in our school systems, specifically inner city schools? Or, are we importing a disproportionate number of left leaning individuals from other areas such as California, New York, Illinois?
You are right that the demise of permitless carry has nothing to do with these things and this is a definite derail, but it is something I openly wonder about.
